Sequels Sam Rami for Superman!

i watched vh1's 100 funniest movies list and SPACEBALLS was curiously absent from the list. i'm still very bitter about the whole ordeal.

I haven't seen X3 yet, but damn have I heard things, both good and bad. But in any case, I like Raimi, but I never want the tones he created for Spidey's 1 and 2 on any Superman movie. I'm all for there being humor, but overall the movies have this tone of corniness. The scene of MJ running through the park in her Wedding dress still gives me chills. I can't see him on Superman.

Ratner... keep him making Rush Hour movies, but other than that, keep him away from any other franchise. I admit back when he wasw first brought in I supported him. I thought he could do a good job. But dear god, his Superman film would have been a nightmare.

I rather have Raimi stay with Spider-Man.

there was not psychological undertone to red dragon. it was a waste of two hours and only the last ten minute or so had anything resembling a film when edward norton finally woke up. this is where my hatred of ratner comes from -- his ability to squander a promising film into mediocrity.
The funny thing is that the movie was a heck of a lot more like the novel than Manhunter was. Plus, it was scripted by Ted Tally, who did the scripting for Silence of the Lambs. If you're upset with anyone, it should be Tally or Thomas Harris. They changed the ending, but I still thought the movie was okay. My hatred of Ratner comes predominantly from X3. It's also split between Halle Berry and Zak Penn. This is so Brett doesn't feel lonely on his quest to take a dump on one of my favorite franchises.:)

Yeah, it had a few good parts. Technically, it was a beautiful film. I equate it to a really well-polished turd.

There's a million people better than Raimi....James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Wolfgang Peterson(with a good script)

God, imagine if Peter Jackson came on board. The guy is a wonderful visionary. Imagine if he had a passion for the Superman character(outside of Donner's film) that he had for King Kong or LOTR. He would trump anything Singer could put out.

Raimi has already made a career out of ripping off the Superman movies, and he isn't doing it well.

A Superman movie done by Raimi would be like Superman III and IV. Ridiculous and boring.
