Sandman's? *spoiler*

Not sure if this has been asked before. But, do you guys think maybe venom will kill The Sandman....bite him, perhaps??

My bigger question has always been: will Sandman be at the Battle Royale? It just doesn't seem right that Venom would simply team up with another guy simply because they don't like Spidey. I'm pulling for Spider-Man taking care of Sandman earlier in the movie, and that and Pete pushing MJ down is what leads him to the bell tower.

But I do think that Sandman is going to do, one way or another.

I don't want Sandman to be there, simply becuz it should be Venom vs. Spidey: the symbiote vs. the original host. One final showdown in a climactic finish to the biggest movie of the year. When Venom gets Spidey down and is on the verge of killing him, thats when Harry shows up to help Pete.

But I think that Venom vs. Spidey should be the final battle.

I agree. I would like to see Sandman perish somewhere in the middle of the film as a victim of the overly aggressive symbiote infested Spider-Man. I can't see Venom and Sandman teaming up against Spidey, even though that has been one of the strong rumors. I too think it should be Venom vs. Spider-Man at the end of the movie with Harry saving Pete. But part of me has trouble believing that Raimi has really put so much faith in the Venom character to let that happen.

i think that Sandman will in fact be at the battle royale, like it will be Spidey vs Sandy and then Venom shows up takes care of Sandman, and then we proceed to the long awaited Spidey vs Venom. I seriously think that the cement truck or dump truck we see flying towards the screen has some importance. Possibly the death or petrification of one of the villains.

i really think that 75 percent of the battle royal will be Spidey vs Venom, its a battle we've all been waiting for, it would be a waste for them not to get a few mins of trading punches in.

The battle royale idea is a lame one, IMO. It's reminds me of something Jon Peters might come up with, if he was involved with the Spider-man franchise and not Batman. Sandman, by the end of the movie, would have already fought Parker twice. No need for a 3rd time. Venom is too big to be just one guy out of 3 combatants. As for Harry, he'd also have fought Parker at least once. (I'd be ok, though, with Harry showing up at the very, very end to help Parker briefly against Venom, as long as Peter had the vast majority of the fight). Let's face it, everyone wants to see Spider-man and Venom one-on-one in the end battle. Harry and Sandman would just be distractions and make it all a clusterf**k.

Regardless about what you think is or isn't lame, it still doesnt change the fact that Sandman and Harry are going to be part of the Battle Royal as well.
