Saw 4 anticipation and plot ideas thread

look im a recovering addict myself ive gone through some rough spots but the fact of the matter is ok i dont intend on using again but i know that anything can happen in the future and i also know that with drugs the thought is always there and it haunts you and if you were ever truly addicted to something stormy then you would understand that just because you dont really want to or intend to use something doesnt mean that you dont think about it and thats my point because its always in the back of your mind

I'm not talking about general addiction, I'm merely talking specifically about the one case of the character in this film, which really showed no indication that she was still addicted to drugs.

Oh please, I doubt anyone knew that
Jigsaw was the one testing Amanda the entire time due to her murdering ways.
Saw it coming, the instant he said
the game is still in progress and we have to follow the rules
. That was like midway through the movie.
The first twist may've been some what predictable, but the last two? No way. I don't care what anyone says no one saw that one or the last one coming at all.

Jeff's daughter being locked in a room and Jigsaw himself being the final test? I doubt anyone actually figured that out.
I can't count the latter as being a twist because it didn't really shock you or make you think "I can't believe it" or "I knew it all along" like twist do. It was just another scene.

It also doesn't mean that she did.;)
yes, but the fact that she wanted to, means she is still addicted..

Which she never used.

yet she still had in her possesions....would someone who isnt addicted and never touched the stuff have a needle and all the other equipment needed?no! shes an addict and its there for when she is feeling weak....much like her self harm thing.at first it was on her arms so she changed it to her legs so jigsaw wouldnt see it.....she was addicted to the pain and there fore she wont ever stop...same with the drugs.

i got a question though.....how do we actually know if the old guy is jigsaw?at first i suspected because of the voice on the recording tapes but then i figured if the lass could do them in the third without the old guys permission then maybe neither of them are jigsaw and its all set up by a higher calling...someone with wealth to make the traps etc.......

i fully support a Saw 4, then if its good, saw 5

Interesting. You bring up a valid point. Although seeing as John admitted to being Jigsaw and it is known that he is Jigsaw, it would be pretty weird to bring someone who is simply using John as a pawn too.

But I never thought about that. As I said, you bring up an interesting point.

he did admit it your right but then again he had the girl thinking she was an apprentice but she was really on a challenge.....

True. That would be a very interesting twist to the story too.

The cutting was in place of drug abuse, not in addition to it....

Well not really, I still have things that I use to use too, I don't intend on using them again though.

It can just serve as a reminder of where you were in your life at certain times, and in some cases, where you don't wish to return to.

It's not a fact that she wanted to.
 WHAT????!?!?!?!?

she got the bag out, and started to take the needle, spoon, heroin out...

why did she do that if she didnt want to?

You just cant take the fact that YOU're WRONG!

Or the fact that your question was already answered in the post above yours.

OH BULL, once an addict always an addict,

Like alchohalism, if you are once an Alchoholic, you will always be an alchoholic,

If you do heroin, then stop, quit, end it..

If you go back and shoot up one more time, One is not enough, you are still addicted.

Case closed

im pretty sure that everyone else here (besides you ) agrees with me, in that she (amanda) is still a heroin addict.:woot:

I couldn't care less, since it's not an election. Something being popular doesn't somehow make it right.
There was a time when our current president was popular...enough said.

OH MY GOD!!!

Majority rules, do you even understand the argument?

i swear, its simple, im right and i'll prove it!

Majority doesn't rule **** in a debate. Most people can think a film sucks, that doesn't prove that it does, it simply proves that most people think it.

That's what known as the bandwagon fallacy. "If alot of people think it must be true!" Nope, it's just popular, there's a difference.

addiction and dependance aretn the same thing, all you have proved is that she isnt dependant on heroin, serioulsy, That doesnt mean shes not addicted..
