The Official Saw 3 thread! Pictures, News and Information Thread!

I went out and rented it today and I gotta say it was quite good, I think I liked it much more then Saw 2 because this one was a more character driven story and I felt a lot more compassion for Jeff then I did for any of the other characters in the second one.

And as usual, good little extra twist at the end with
Jeff's daughter being trapped. Also, while I'm here in the spoilers I call bull**** on what happened to Detective Kerry, I don't see the justification to Jigsaw's reasons because she was clearly a compassionate and caring person in the second film. Whatever though, she wasn't a character I liked anyways.

A few little things I wondered about though. What was that thing that John covered with wax? What was it that the detective picked off the ground in Troy's crime scene? Seems to me like he pocketed it.

7 is too much. 4, or 5 I think would stretch it just enough before milking it completely. If each movie keeps making 100 million I expect it to reach over 10 though :( Loved 3 by the way. :D

Saw 3 is my favorite film of the trilogy. As a whole, in my opinion, all of the films have been very excellent with how they've tied up different loose ends and gave answers to different questions.

I'd definitely love to see Dr. Gordon or maybe even Detective Tapp return. We know Detective Tapp was shot by Zepp, but we never really see him die either, and we know he had his throat cut by Jigsaw and survived that attacks. So who's to say he couldn't survive being shot in the stomach? Yes, it's a stretch in the end, however, it would be very interesting to see Dr. Gordon or Detective Tapp returning.

Dr. Gordon, Detective Tapp, or Detective Matthews should return for Saw 4 to help Jeff find his daughter.

What Matthews does at the beginning of Saw 3 still makes me uncomfortable and cringe.

I agree

But what I just realised today is when I watched it again was

why would Jigsaw make a play me tape with Billie The Puppet for Troy and Kerry? He KNEW Amanda was a murderer, why would he even bother making a tape for them if he knew she was going to put them into a trap in which they cannot escape. It's real stupid.

And to answer a question previously asked..

The detective picks up a piece of Troy's chain, that guy is suspicious, they better not go "HE'S TEH NEW JIGSAW!11111!!" on HOJ or I will smack someone.

So were Dr. Gordon's family in part 1. Remember that it was all a test for Amanda, so any one of their deaths would have been on her hands. It was her decision whether to show compassion to them or not.

I guess that is true, but still that was a pretty ****ed up way of testing Amanda.

Ah I see, maybe he's one of those cops that takes memorabilia from crime scenes and either keeps it or sells it to people. He could be a pretty good test subject for the next Saw.

The thing he covered in wax was a play me tape I'm pretty sure

No offence, because i respect your opinions, but i hated saw 3. I love the first 2 but i think 3 kinda killed the future of the franchise.

If you folks dont mind me asking, what did you like so much about it?

(i havent seen it since opening night so i kinda forget some stuff)

It had a better story and characterization than S2, and possibly even S1. And I felt more for the characters.

We like it to piss you off

Ok, well I'm not pissed off. I just wanted to hear some second opinions on the film because a couple of my friends wanted me to tell them if its good or not, i said it wasnt but im not sure if Im giving the film a good enough chance, after all, there are good movies out there that i dont like, as there is with all people.

So does anyone know what the story is for the 4th installment?
