Saw VI discussion thread

Something weird I just seen on face book.

Since when was Jill a helper of Jigsaw? Or is this a possible plot spoiled?

I think it has just always been speculated that she would end up continuing his work.

Well her involvement is definately leading to something.

The director has stated she has a pivotal role in the film, but I don't think she's alive; it'd be a horrible route to go and would ruin SAW III...the best of the series thus far imo.

I meant Jill , I also think Amanda should remain dead.

I say that the first one was the best in the series.

The first one is near the bottom for me, the only sequel I'd rank it ahead of is SAW IV.

yea the first one was just amazing, it left my jaw open after the last scene

1,3,5,2, and 4 is how I'd rate the series.

I'd rank it in order 1,2,3,4,5 . I actually didn't like Saw 3 all that much the first time I saw it but I decided to give it another try and found more of an appreciation for it.
I liked Saw 2 so much because I thought Det. Matthews was a good character.

same here :hehe:
its going on a down hill after every film, hopefully this one will have all the answers but then again i could be disappointed

Saw II, Saw, Saw V, Saw IV and Saw III is my best to worst order. The third was the only one I hated, I found it very boring and hard to get into. I enjoyed the others though, with the first two easily being my favorites.

First three made a great horror trilogy. The last two were below mediocre and did everything it could to taint the first three. I can't elaborate enough how much Melton and Dunstan have butchered Wan and Whannell's characters and story arc.

If you think about it there is nothing left from the first films, they killed off every single interesting character. Definitely not holding my breath for the sixth installment. Also won't bother with Saw VII in 3D which starts production in april.

I can bet anything they will not bring Cary Elwes back, if they were planning on it they would have done it already. And it's not that they can't. They have made so much profit from this franchise, they could give him a hefty check just for a minute cameo, but it's not in they're interest. Besides, they would rather just confirm his death in a flashback in one of the next three films; it's much cheaper.

You will be , they are pushing to keep this franchise going and still be connected to the first three films. I like how alot of characters carried over but now most of them are dead. I don't think they are trying to wrap anything up .
