This is the official Scarface thread. The best movie ever made derserves a thread.

Scarface (1932) is a great movie, Paul Muni and Howard Hawks rock

P.S. I'm assuming your not an ignorant film watcher, and you have seen the original, that is 100x better than the hammy remake... Please don't prove me wrong :(

Why do you insult Ghost Rider like that, I'm sure he's not an ignorant immature film-watcher, who mistakes hammyness for greatness!

Nahh. I'm not really into classic movies. Exept for King Kong.

You sadden me... Do yourself a favor and get the original, DePalma basically rips it off completely, hams it up, and stretches it out to 3 hours..

Whats up with all the frowns?

It saddening that you think that Scarface (1980s) is one of the greatest films of all time... Though Nightmare on Elm Street is one of my favorite films and I find Scarface to be entertaining, I think the 1930s version is better.

give us a review of the movie,im genuinely interested in what makes you feel it's the best movie ever

Well, I haven't seen the original, but I love the 1983 version. It kind of saddens me that it's become almost a novelty movie, because for its time it was quite innovative.

I've never seen the '30s version. I feel the '80s version with Al Pacino is very overrated though, just goes on way too long. It's a decent movie, but no where near the best movie ever made and wouldn't be anywhere near as popular as it is now if it wasn't for MTV's Cribs and GTA: Vice City.

Scarface(1983) has to be one of the best movies ever made. It might be long but the development in it is great and really shows Tony Montona character (I hope that is spelled right).

I didn't see Scarface'32, but I loved Scarface with Al Pacino

The Brian de palma one was almost a masterpiece, great great movie.

The original directed by howard hawks and starring paul munny was a masterpiece, one of the best classic gangsters films. A must see.

Believe it or not...IDW is now making a SEQUEL comic series. Where...appearantly Scareface didn't die at the end of the movie. No lie.
