Scariest/Creepiest things you've ever seen/experienced?

Funny how some ghosts seem to be doing things they would've done when they were alive, and others act as if they know you're there (sometimes maliciously as well).

Driving to the mall one day, we passed a bus stop. It was cool out, but a guy was waiting wearing a trench coat, fedora, and a cloth covering his entire face. I don't even remember seeing his hands.

He looked kind of like the Shadow. Not the creepiest thing I've seen, but easily one of the strangest.

I would have to say before I saw The Departed I was getting sleep in and I never falled asleep but I was so wrapped up in what I was thinking about I almost forgot that it wasn't real and my eyes were closed.
Then there was a time not to long ago where I set my car key on the counter and ice comes out of where you can get ice and water except no one pressed it.
This happened some back in 2006. I was at my College and decided to sit down before I went to my car. So I sit and there is there very attractive hispanic woman that looks about 19-21 and so I start talking to her. We are both talking about dating and I find weirdly that she has yet to find a guy. When I said I was going to guess her name and starts with S and I said Sofia I was right. So then where she was born I guessed that LA City of Angels once again I am right. My guesses were so accurate. She ended having to go to Math class and she ended being a little late because we both just kept talking.
Back in High School Senior year I was sitting on a bench resting eyes closed and I just get this feeling that someone who I don't like is there. I open my eyes and I am rigt she is about I think 15 yards out.

Guys I have been searching for results on the southfield mansion for a while now. I can't pull it up. However, the mansion was tore down a long time ago. Its no longer there. Maybe it was removed from the hauntings sites i don't know.

I promise its not bull**** though. Its a frickin wicked story, but for what its worth, I promise its all truth.

I wish jewishhobbit was here to share some demon stories

The way these cross-dressing alien-monster-demons look on my monitor is chilling.

Ive had several strange visions and feelings of deja vu before. One of the strongest and strangest happened when i was around 14. One night I had this dream and in the dream I was sitting on a ladder in a room I had never seen before eating a sandwich (other stuff happened in the dream but that is the part that stuck out and I remembered). Now I woke up later and thought nothing of it. About 3 weeks later I went with my father (who is a carpenter) to help my aunt fix up and remodel her new shop. Anyway I helped my father do some work including putting up a wall. Later we went to get subs and we came back to the shop to eat lunch. So I found a seat and started eating when the strongest feeling of deja vu hit me. I looked around and realized I was sitting in the room I had never seen before eating a sandwich on a ladder. It was crazy. I had never been to my aunts shop before she was just starting out and we had just put a wall in that day. But there I was eating a sandwich sitting on a ladder in the exact same room from my dream 3 weeks earlier.

I've had my share of strange encounters, but here is one for the thread;

One day I was helping a friend of mine move into a house he and his wife recently purchased together. About half-way through the day of moving, we're in the basement moving a couch and suddenly he drops his end and he had a funny look on his face, like he was suddenly frightened. I asked him what was wrong and he didn't say anything, rather he said he had to go upstairs. I was a little confused, I figured he got sick all of a sudden or something. I went upstairs to the kitchen and I asked him what was wrong. He asked me if I had seen the face on the wall, he also said the mouth on the face was moving like it was talking. And I'm going to be honest I felt chills go down my spine. Now this fellow is a honest person, him and his wife are strong catholic followers.

This happened two years ago, they still live in the house but he says he avoids the basement as much as possible, and only goes down there if he needs to.

Did he describe the face? It sounds like an interesting experience. How's your friend doing now?

He said the face was like a pale white, and it had no eyes, but they were empty sockets. Just thinking about it now is creepy.

Did they consider having the house blessed? Forgive me if its not the proper term, I'm not knowledgeble in Catholic pratices.

Not that i'm aware of, he hasn't really talked about it much since it happened. Can't say I blame him, IMO, if it was something that kept happening i'd have the house blessed or get the heck out of there.

Personally, i've had some strange things happen to me. I know alot of people don't believe in this stuff, but it's happened to much for me to simply ignore it or put it off as my imagination.

^Know what ya mean.

I've went into other houses looking for it, never found it. I somewhat consider myself lucky, really.

Deja vu is the feeling you've lived a moment before. What you experienced was precognition, which (when you realize it has come true) brings the feeling of deja vu and (in my opinion) is directly related to deja vu in its explanation.

My parents told me that ever since I could speak (first word at 9 months) I've been trying to relate to them deja vu experiences until I learned the actual term, which was probably when I was around 6 or 7 or so. They told me it got to the point where, even as a little 3-year-old, I would explain the feeling of living the same exact event again sometimes multiple times a day. Even now, not a week passes without multiple deja vu events (only one deja vu event a week is a rare occurence), and sometimes I have multiple deja vu events a day.

As I got older I began to have dreams or "visions" that would come true (although these experiences were much more rare) and the moments when I realized they came true felt like deja vu, only it was different because whether deja vu is the feeling you've lived an exact moment before, pre-cognition is actually knowing something would happen before it would. I also proved free will exists (to myself, most people don't believe me when I relate my stories) by saving my baby cousin's life after attending a party I wasn't going to attend until I had a dream the night before the occasion that my cousin would be struck and killed in a hit and run accident. My deja vu and precognition eventually lead and is leading to what I consider to be my spiritual enlightenment.

^What are the numbers to the mega millions lottery?

^I know...I have already told all of my scary stories in here but I figured I might as well tell my powers as well. I have a bit of pre-cog but its nothing substantial or important. We use to have slides at the movie theatre that would just be products or upcoming movies...as soon as we sat down...I could close my eyes and a number would come into my head and I would say 48 slides until the movie starts. It would happen every time and I always freaked out my friends. I also have a weird tendency to drain watch batteries very quickly and can put my hands on electrical devices and feel something just going into me. I also have quiet a bit of static electricity and I shock everything I touch. Random street lights would always turn off when I passed or drove under them. I know I am not the only one but has anyone been lying in bed and tried really hard to concentrate and make something move in their room? I didn't make anything move...maybe I should try harder. I do think I have something and I wish I knew a way to find a way to target it.

I can't think of anything...but this is kinda weird, my older brother and I watched The Predator when we were kids...he was the first to have a nightmare about it when he was like 7...ever since then we've both had recurring nightmares at least once a year involving a situation with the Predator trying to kill us...we're in our twenties.

I now know your weakness. I have a dream about a witch at least every year and it gets longer each time. I dream the same exact dream up until a point and then it gets longer each time...that is creepy.

Yeah that's the *****. If what you're saying is true then you definitely have something amazing within you, but like me, you just can't unleash it any time you want. I have that precognition thing but I can't just sit back and have my eyes go white or something and then say what's gonna happen. I also always thought all the houses I would live in were haunted because things would move by themselves, but once I moved into a newly-built house which could not have possibly been haunted and things kept moving around me I realized what was doing it: me. And it's always high stress situations where I have no control over anything. I wake up from nightmares and my door is shaking and clothes is floating and things on my desk are sliding, rolling, and shaking, but then it stops and I could sit there and concentrate for half an hour and it won't happen again. I can't do more than make a small object in a bowl of water move in the direction I want it to when I concentrating, but there's been people that can make things levitate, spin, and even stop the hearts of small animals (not that I would do that). So I know I have some kind of "mental abilities" (and probably so does everyone else) I just can't/don't know how to access them.

You can really wake up and see your clothes flying around and you can move something in a bowl? Even if I do have something that past coincedental...it is far from that. Please make a video of that and put it on youtube. I usually think I misplace things and look for hours for it, car keys, combs, toothbrush, etc..etc...and it is in the first place I looked and I really can't see it. It is like it appeared out of thin air. I do that all the time too.

Deja Vu is nothing mystical or even pertaining to precognition. It's a delay in information being sent to the brain via the eyes. It has a basis in medical fact.

All it means is that your brain is damaged. :(

Wrong. It's been disproven by the fact that blind people feel deja vu. It's not fact at all, just the theory that you chose to believe.
