Not only was she indoctrinated as a child to be cold blooded killer but her best friend was brainwashed by Loki into killing and the guy she fell in love with was a rage induced green monster with serious control issues who's mind has been messed with in both Avengers films. In the first he tried to kill her and in the second he tried to take out Johannsberg.

Her explanation makes perfect sense. Bucky almost killed her. Twice. She saw the trail of bodies he left behind.

If she has reason to believe that he hasn't gotten back to his senses and is still the monster HYDRA made, there is literally no reason she'd side with him. Steve is emotionally compromised because he loves Bucky too much to be objective. Falcon flat out said this in the last movie.

Natasha? She doesn't have that problem. If she thinks Bucky is still a serious threat and cannot be redeemed, she'd have no problem putting him in the ground.

Someone on Tumblr posted that they got to ask the Russo's a question today at the Cleveland Comic Con - and for all the Bucky/Nat fans, apparently Bucky and Natasha to speak to each other in Cap 3. Said Tumblr posted is going to upload the video later.

I saw this on Tumblr! OMG!!! I am beyond hyped about an interaction between Nat and Bucky. And did you notice the way Joe Russon answered the question? It was a simple question, "Does Natasha and Bucky speak in this movie" or something to that affect. Joe seemed like he was thinking of a way of answering the question without spoiling anything. A simple yes or no would not spoil the film. Something else has to be going on there. Are they going to have Nat and Bucky share a past? I hope so!

It's mind boggling right? Maybe because of how she was written in AoU but the Russos wrote her well in Winter Soldier and I don't see why that would change with this one.

Hell Sharon is getting more love than Widow and she was a complete non factor her first go around.

There really isn't a lot of hate at least not here. It's mostly a couple of posters. And yeah no Sharon doesn't get more love, though she does have a few very enthusiastic fans.

Her name is over the credits with Evans and RDJ for a reason ad she's certainly getting paid like a lead. My guess is if hers is not the third biggest role then it's the fourth behind Stan.

Nat is one of the most well-written female characters in a comic book movie. Say what you want about AOU (i didn't have problem with her writing in this only with the romance) but she got major fleshing out in BOTH the Avengers and TWS. People tend to forget that Whedon took her from the mysterious badass agent in IM2 and gave her personality, relationships, showed her to be afraid and sympathetic. Russos built from her Avengers writing. Let's not forget some things.

I wonder why BW is far more liked and far more popular than Sharon in the MCU; maybe because BW has been in 4 movies so far and has clocked over 2 hours of screen time compared to Sharon's glorified cameo of 3 minutes in only 1 movie. It helps when a well known actress is cast with a reputation for her something appeal might be it too.....

So when i see people asking "why so much hate" i want to choke a kitty. 3-4 negative comments in ONE forum don't justify the word "hate". For a character to be hated the majority of the comments about him or at least half of them should be negative. So, don't make generalizations and create notions. No one hates Sharon. You are jumping into conclusions way too easily.

And? She was a SERIOUS badass in Winter Soldier and will likely be in CW...No need to feel it was a shot at Carter for the very reason you mentioned.

I honestly chalk up those kind of responses to posters who are probably very young (14 -19) and get too emotionally involved with a character and therefore others opinions of those characters. That would definitely explain blowing comments out of proportion and jumping to conclusions. Better explanation then the other option....

I didn't even mention about any Sharon hate. My point was that since BW has had more screen time, development, exposure, and is played by a well known actress who tends to play sexy characters then it is to be expected that BW is more liked and popular compared to Sharon who is played by a tv actress with only 3 mins of screen time.

But you should check out tumblr and twitter to see the disgusting hate Sharon gets just because she might end up with a prized Steve. Yeah, I consider, "die Sharon" to be hate. And leave kitties alone.
