Also I want to thank John Ottman for pointing out the lack of consistency in the music in these films.

IMHO one of the biggest problems in this franchise is they don't have a unifying theme. I'm glad Ottman is trying to fix that.

I'm so glad Ottman brought his theme back.

OMG...just listened to the entire score.

Tears in the eyes a little bit. So much nostalgia with the return of these classic X2 motifs...the best of the franchise. I can't even deal.

danoyse, does Wolverine have any proper Berserker rage moments in DOFP like he did in the X-Mansion raid scene in X2 when we stabbed that soldier to the fridge screaming at him in rage?

I know that Wolverine's character arc in the film is to have patience and to be a mentor to Professor X, but I would like to see at least one berserker rage moment.

Listened to the soundtrack. Except for Hope-Xavier's theme, Time's UP, Time's UP 2 (for the Magneto theme from FC and Welcome Back End Titles (mix of x2 theme and Hope?), the rest is meh.

I think it is a good album. The theme, Hope, both Times Up, The Attack Begins, Pentagon Plan, Paris Pandemonium and Do What You Were Made For are definitely my favs. I love how "The Attack begins" sounds like the past and present climax will be playing back and forth.
