Had some great moments but I think overall I still prefer The Wolverine soundtrack and I'm sad they didnt use Magneto's theme from First Class. But still that opening title has never sounded better.

wasn't aware Ottman was doing the score so u could definitely imagine the smile on my face when i heard the x2 suite in the opening credits

i loved his theme for charles aswell

Really liked this score, can't wait to pick up the CD version! Really dug all the nods to Jackman's score. Not only for Magneto, but you can hear the Mystique theme from FC in Join Me.

If there's one thing we can all say about the X-Films, is that they all hired huge talent behind the music.

Xaviers Theme is gorgeous. Reminds me of Hans Zimmer 's Time.

Which also reminded me of Zimmer's "Journey To The Line" that was used for the DOFP trailers. Sadly Xavier's theme fell victim to temp tracks. Besides the X2 theme reprise the score didn't leave much of an impression on me (in the movie) the way Ottman's X2 and SR did.

Not sure if they had Mystique's theme from the OT for JLaw's Mystique here. I actually miss that more than Henry Jackman's Magneto theme.

Yeah Magneto's X2 theme. Specifically just the trumpet part. You can hear it when he reorganizes Cerebro in X2.

Hat Rescue is track 14. Also the beginning of track 18 has it too at 0:12-0:24 seconds

EDIT: 1:14 of track 18 also has a reference to the X-Men/X2/DOFP theme.
