Daredevil Season 2, Episode 13 "A Cold Day in Hell's Kitchen" (USE SPOILER TAGS!)

Punisher showing up gunning down the Hand to help DD and Elektra would've been amazing. Even if he didn't play that much in the episode, if he showed up like that it would've made up for it and would've been a moment the audience cheered for. But not just gunning them down. I would've liked some hand-to-hand combat with him getting out a knife and brawling with some of them.

It would be a bit like the final battle in Spider-Man 3 when the New Goblin finally showed up to help Spidey against Sandman and Venom. Although the film wasn't great, it was nice to finally see them team up. But in this case, instead of the one showing up dying, it would be Elektra who dies instead. And then it would be just DD and Punisher in the end on that rooftop when they've defeated everyone, with DD cradling Elektra's body.

Then maybe Punisher might put a hand on DD's shoulder and say he knows what it's like to lose someone, and they would come to some kind of understanding and mutual agreement where they don't get in each other's way and are loose allies.

I disagree with the ending. Ultimately, they have fundamentally incompatible ideologies. Daredevil may understand Frank Castle, but that doesn't mean he can allow him to continually murder.

So many issues with the finale and especially the final battle. Great season over all but that was rough to watch after having just suffered the Walking Dead season finale.

For some reason the Hand just stopped pounding on the door while DD and Elektra have their lengthy dialogue.

Tons of ninjas just disappear. Suspect a Frank gatling gun scene was cut.

Nobu just lays there in shock at killing the Black Sky while a lengthy death scene plays out. Ditto with his ninjas.

None of the cops or onlookers see a body fly off the building.

Stick somehow gets to Nobu first and beheads him to prevent him coming back. Yet he doesn't take the time to behead Elektra to make sure she doesn't.

Lots of other nit-picks but it was just terrible, terrible writing and editing.

I hate it when they end a season on one cliffhanger, they ended it on three.

Three? Matt telling Karen. What are the other two? Elektra being brought back wasn't really a cliffhanger but just a tease for something later.

Frank burning his house, and the disc with the name 'Micro' on it.

That's more of a tease as well. I don't expect them to pick up on that in season 3, if Punisher is even in there. I don't see it as a cliffhanger. It's not like we're left wondering how Frank survived that burning house.

I can agree. They didn't quite stick the landing as well as the 1st season, but overall, I was still entertained.

I think everyone was expecting a big all-out battle and team up with all the heroes who had finally become who they were supposed to be. People wanted to see the Punisher in action in his skull T-shirt, not just walking away from a burning house or sharpshooting from a distance.

And Punisher never got to meet Elektra at all. I doubt he even knew who she was. Elektra knew of Punisher but never met him.

yeah that was weird to me, but I just assumed she knew about Matt's career in law and in turn also knew about the case he was taking on.

Like I posted, I actually felt this was a far stronger ending than the Season one finale. I can sort of agree that Frank showing up at the end felt somewhat forced but, he was a man of honor that had a grudging respect for DD, so I can't totally say it was an out of character moment given what came before.

I hated the battle between Daredevil and Elektra against The Hand. It reminds me the flat fights on "Arrow".

Im getting anrgy because I dont see the scene where Daredevil swung on the billy club? What point in the episode did this happen or did theu cut it? End? Middle? Beggining

It's around the 17:53 mark, after the scene with Karen and Turk Barrett being held hostage by The Hand along with the rest of the people in the van.

thank you finally!

Just finished this season, best Netflix show yet for me, and I am REALLY looking forward to The Punisher even more now.

Really loved the whole season. Hope we get to see a lot more billy club action next season!
