The April 6 episode of The Flash is called “The One With The Nineties” and if there isn’t at least some kind of reference to the John Wesley Shipp version of the series we’re going to be disappointed. In any event, The CW has released an official description with some spoilers, and we’ll hopefully have some photos soon.

CISCO AND CHESTER GO BACK IN TIME – Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Chester (Brandon McKnight) travel back in time and get stuck in 1998, repeating the same day over and over again. The key to returning home is at Chester’s childhood home but he refuses to visit. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) forges a connection with the speed force. Jeff Byrd directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Emily Palizzi (#706). Original airdate 4/6/2021.

Will he talk the villain into submission...again? Seems to be all he does now.

Ahhh 1998. The year I realized college kinda sucked.

Obviously the different speed force entities are leading to something. Not sure I trust "Nora" either.

Obviously this is supposed to build up Chester but I'm bored.

When did Camilla get back?

This is the 3rd episode this season where the "villain" has been talked down to save the day.

Another solid episode imo. Actual season 7 is off to a pretty good start. Yes, I know, another "pep talk" but I think a lot of that has to do with Covid restrictions.

Got some WandaVision vibes and I did enjoy some of the 90's bits.

I wonder if Grant needed the time off or if it was just another Covid thing keeping the cast down. He really didn't have a role in this one but I guess he could have went to the 90's with Cisco and Chester?

Barry being uncomfortable with Speed Force Nora should be the main emphasis instead of Cisco and Chester being stuck in 1998l.

Looks like that'll be handled next week. I wonder if they had Grant sit this one out to keep the cast down because of Covid or what. Seems to be the constant theme to start this season.

They are social distancing from fighting the villains? They could just cgi the fight.

I still maintain that these other forces are a poor show; who invented them and why? If they've got a villain that can manipulate time at will then, well, the speed force can manipulate time too?

The 90's and Chesters' chat with his Dad was heartwarming, and the whole situation with Noraforce is kinda' cringeworthy; Iris thinking she knows what's going on in Barry's head is arrogant of her character a bit too I thought?

Let's see how this all plays out. These new forces are quite new to the comics I think, so I'm intrigued as to whether the show is going to throw its own spin on them, or follow suit.

This would just be another day in the life of the Legends. Still, surprised neither Chester nor Cisco at least said Time Warp, even though that has nothing to do with time travel.

Not a good episode. But what really bothered me was Cisco hanging out in a t-shirt in clear 0°C temperature. Let's risk the actors health some more?

"Boyega. John Boyega." Really...?

Iris: "Nora...?"

No.

(I'm sure Iris remembers Mrs. Allen, but "Nora" will always refer to someone else as far as Iris is concerned.)

Not a great episode. It didn't even really look like the 90s. Sure, they had a few props like a Blockbuster sign or some clothes, but everything else still looked much like it could've been present day. They probably picked this decade so that they wouldn't have to change much since it is probably the decade with the least extreme changes from now (excluding anything this century in the 2000s and 2010s).

And the time loop was not very well done. They only experienced the loop once. It seemed pretty much like a budget episode.
