So Shameless season 7 is apparently coming this October.

I feel excited about that and not. On one hand we get shameless early but on the other hand I liked having shameless in January because it gave me something to look forward to in the new year tv wise.

So I finally finished last season and those Gallaghers can't win. I dont know if Frank was the hero or the villain at the wedding. He did expose Sean as a user but he did it for a selfish reason. I'm interested to see how things pick up next season. Franny is going to be older ( I love babies), Fiona can't work with Sean right? How the hell is this V/Kevin thing going to resolve? That story has spun into this strange place. Their sex life has always been off though, so this seems like a progression.

I enjoyed it - you just know Lip is going to relapse at some point

I would like Liam to start having his own stories maybe, he is getting to the right age

Debbie is horrible, so different to the UK one, I can't get behind her at all, she is Franks daughter so much so right now just without the alcohol

Agreed about Debbie. I really hope Lip doesn't relapse as well. Carl's story was pretty funny and Ian's storyline with his boyfriend is interesting. They said the Gallagher's are supposed to be winning this season so we'll see.

At least Frank is Frank and is kinda funny - watching Debbie **** up her life so much is just hard stuff to watch

I hope they push Carl towards the police force more, like they did in the UK

the premiere was alright. I didnt hate any of the characters which is actually a good start. Im sure that can change.

Not liking that Ian's bf is cheating on him and with a woman bc I liked them together and thought it was good that he found something stable

Carl wasting $1500 on a circumcision so he can get head from one girl was so stupid. I hope he ends up regretting that

Best premier since s3... but still too odd even for Shameless at some points ala Carl/Ian's BF/Debbie (who was smarter as a 10-12 year old in s1 for calling Jimmy out).

the shock is with Debbie, whilst I remember her being a bit controversial at times in the UK one she was smart and pretty decent when it came down to it (or at least you were able to somewhat root for her) U.S Debbie is just utterly deplorable at present

this season was the best in a long time. It really revitalized the series and left it in a good place to conclude next season

I thought season 8 was meant to be the final one? If not, it needs to be. Theres only so much you can do with these characters and Season 7 felt like it was beginning to wrap things up

Yeah season 8 isn't the last season I believe. I agree tho that it should be the last season. 8 seasons is a good run. Both weeds and dexter lasted 8 seasons. Those shows both should of ended before tho.

I don't know about Dexter but weeds had long run out of ideas and got silly

Shameless is in a different place where there are still stories to persue, maybe they'll finally switch up the status quo a bit more

Carl becoming a police officer has interesting stories attached for one
