I Honestly don't think many people do. I mean, everyone is free to speculate as they wish, but I thought the pic was pretty obvious that it was just a fun set pic not part of the film.

If we count the skulls in Predator 2 then I guess Shane Black's Predator will be the third movie to have another alien besides the predators. This thing was in Predators.

Yeah, the idea (and visual) is kind of jarring, to say the least.

Yeah, it's very weird seeing the Predators acting like human soldiers, and I think it's made worse by these being set pics with obvious costumes, it's one of those deals that might look better in the actual movie.

To be fair, those were considered Super Predators, a different type from the regular species (I'm probably getting these words wrong, but you should get what I mean.), so bigger heads and masks I sort of brush off, especially since we see a regular Predator in that film, and he looks more or less normal.
