Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson might be in the film:

The rapper revealed in two separate interviews (via Bloody Disgusting) that he might be appearing in Shane Black's sequel to the 1987 sci-fi, which also starred Schwarzenegger.

He shared to SiriusXM's Shade 45: "I'll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too. I'll do Predator."

While neither Black nor Fox have confirmed his casting, 50 Cent affirmed in another interview with 99 Jamz Uncensored that he expects to be in the franchise movie.

"I'm working on some new projects," he said. "You heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer."

Also, saying "this summer" I think would indicate they intend to film this summer.

The Predator to Begin Filming by October

The Predator to be filming by October according to Agence France Presse. With his latest film, The Nice Guys, due out at the end of May, Shane Black has been out promoting his upcoming comedy film. He has also been dropping some bits and pieces to do with his next project, The Predator. Talking to AFP, Shane Black revealed that filming on The Predator would start towards the end of the year:

Shane Black also spoke a little more about the scale of The Predator, hinting at a larger budget than the previous films: “Black said it would be a significantly “bigger” film than its three predecessors. “To the best of my knowledge, the train is rolling. It took some convincing because they’ve been putting out these movies all along with a $50-60 million budget, and they all had a guaranteed return.” Black previously spoke about the scale of his Predator sequel, describing it as an “event film”, something that people would be queuing up to see.

No cast has been confirmed, however Curtis James Jackson recently talked about the possibility of his appearance in The Predator and Arnold Schwarzenegger has said he is meeting with Black and would love to return. Speaking to AFP about Arnold, Shane Black said that Arnie’s involvement in The Predator is “something we’re looking into.”

The only reason I still have any interest in this movie is because of Shane Black, I honestly don't care if they get Arnold or not. The Predator(s) itself will be the main attraction for me.

Sexist and racist all in one go. I'll play the typical SJW and ask why there is a problem with women being capable fighters? The literal definition of masculinity had to resort to tricks and wits to defeat the Predator and another guy had to use a cheap shot to do it but women are too incapable of thinking or acting like that.

If they want to include female fighters in this movie I have no problem with that. But I know you were being trollish sarcastic with this inane comment so I'll let it slide.

And we know next to nothing of their culture either so we don't know the structure of their society. For all we know the males in their world are the weaker sex and this is how they compensate. About the female Predators, if they do appear I hope they're not just Predator with boobs (yes, I just googled them if you're wondering. I saw some very interesting fan-art. Da heck ) because that's kinda dull. This is an alien species we're talking about, they'd better get creative.
