Definitely.

It's designed to look like superhero spandex, but it's got that texture on it for a reason. Bet they light it a certain way (lightning, etc) later on.

Look at the awkward way he carries himself in it...look at how he tries to wear the hood.

Not something dark and gritty. I guess i expected something kind of cool and more exciting. This to me just looked kind of cheap if i am being honest.

Didn't know that. I guess i should have done my homework.

Right. It looks like that 90s Flash suit. There is nothing "cool" about it, it looks those puff muscle suits you can get at Party City. it has to be intentional

For someone that doesn't know anything about the character, I was pleasantly surprised by this trailer.

Really thought this would be dark and not a comedy-type of CBM, so was wondering what was with the goofy images recently.

I liked its trailer more than the Aquaman one (which reminds me of JL in a bit of a negative way).

I'm cautiously optimistic. It's guaranteed to be better than BvS, JL, & SS at least, heh.

Here's the thing. They're definitely playing up the cheese, and taking the piss when it comes to superheroes. But I wouldn't be surprised if they turn that on its head by the end of the film, and there are themes about responsibility, etc, and a surprising amount of heart. It's pretty much needed in a Shazam movie.

Pretty cool trailer, I'm glad they are into taking themselves too seriously. The tone works, the kid and Levi are great. Looks like a lot of fun.

Incidentally, I think Asher Angel could've been a good Peter Parker. He was too young at the time of Civil War though.

This movie needs to be cheesy to not be cheesy. You can't take a concept like Shazam and expect a serious movie out of it.

So I thought Billy Batson idolized Batman and Superman...but in this trailer, he doesn't. He's not even a fan of them. His friend is though. I'm only taking what I know about Shazam from the one time he appeared in Justice League Unlimited.

I preferred the Shazam trailer too. And you're right, Aquaman did remind me of Justice League too. I didn't find it all that exciting.

I guess they needed to remove that aspect to give Freddy something to do. Otherwise why is he really needed in the film other than to be a confidante? Here it seems as if he's the one helping Billy figure out his powers and be a mentor of sorts.
