Paul Dini started his career writing episodes for the Shazam! cartoon from 1981 while still in college. His episodes are the best (all the ones with Sivana, Mr. Mind and Black Adam). He even did the Sivana Family.

Very good show, completely accurate to the comics at the time.

Very excited about this film. Work has been **** for a while now and I'm looking forward to some goofy superhero fun. Was watching Ragnarok the other day and loving it for all its silly stuff - so I'm totally ready for Shazam!

Shazam will probably be the film that finally turns DC around and makes it a worthy competitor to Marvel but in their own way

Nice! Very impressed with Sandberg. Only guy besides Wan to make a good Conjuring film. He also hits a home run with his first superhero outing. Shows a level of commitment to the source material, no matter what genre he's working in.

It's too bad WB didn't give him the budget or marketing push that Shazam deserved.
