Same here. I was more excited for this beforehand anyway but the Aquaman trailer didn't do much for me.

They did include a tiger as part of Shazam's costume and their were toy tigers in a set photo. So I hope that doesn't mean he will only be referenced but won't actually be in the movie.

I was actually quite moved by the trailer, unexpectedly. It was great seeing Billy Batson's origin come to life, helping Freddy etc. It seems to be hitting the right tone, focusing on that kid/adult aspect. I didn't expect him to be so open to the public as Shazam. But it looks like a fun movie. I hope it gets serious with the villain, and I fully expect it to. Establishing that fun kid/superhero aspect is a great start.

Loved the trailer! I’m worried they might go a tad too silly with Shazam but other than that, I thought it was pretty fantastic. I especially liked what I saw from Billy; I like that he’s a badass on his own and also heroic. The costume looks a little goofy but I think it works. I hope that this and Aquaman both turn out as good as they look.

I like them both but i prefer Aquaman by a country mile. I need to see a second Shazam trailer before i fully judge, but i suspect it's a film not made for me.

Wow I went from not giving a rip about this movie to it being in my top 10 anticipated films for next year. This trailer looks amazing

You can see that the director and those involved are having fun with it and they were right about it being like "Big". It has that innocent/throwback quality.

This looks way better than I thought it would. And looks like it'll have some real emotional pull to balance the levity. Loving what I'm seeing so far.

And the trailer for sure confirms it's in the DCEU. Which, as much as I hate the DCEU, I like that this is part of it.

Looks great! I feel like this is a good tone for Shazam. I get confused when people say they're ruining this character. I've seen comments like this multiple times. While my Shazam knowledge is limited, he seems pretty much like how he was characterized in the Young Justice animated series. Which I totally loved.

Not sure which I enjoyed more, Shazam or Aquaman. Both look great! Titans, on the other hand...

Not sure if this has been posted but looks like a bit of a synopsis has been released.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Billy seems a bit more serious and brooding in the trailer compared to his adult self when played by Levi. I was hoping to see a more light hearted side of Billy so that we saw that same personality once he became Shazam.
