So should they save the older versions of the Shazamily for a surprise in the film? Or reveal them in a trailer? I hope they save it as a surprise.

Either way, can't wait to see Adam Brody, Michelle Borth, DJ Cotrona, Meagan Good and Ross Butler kill it!

They should save it for a surprise, but they'll blow it in the last trailer a week before the film comes out. They wanna capitalize on those 3 weeks before Avengers comes out and get parents taking their kids to Shazam, not Dumbo which releases the week before.

Poppins and Cinderella are showing us that the live action takes on the earlier Disney properties aren't exactly box office juggernauts, at least compared to their 90's era films. Shazam's biggest hurdle will be Endgame, but 2017 already showed us SH films can coexist as WW, SM and GotG2 all made bank releasing one after the other.

good point, even tho we had a lot SH movies in 2017 & some did ok, and yeah SW isnt that strong here in Mex as SH films

They really weren't thinking ahead in casting Asher Angel as Billy. He's already 16. If they have any intention of using Shazam in a team up movie, he's going to be in his 20s by then...I think they should've gone a bit younger for longevity sake.

I have a feeling they wanna do a bang bang bang with this franchise =P

Shazam April 2019 - announce Black Adam director and release on or before 2021, then do a big Sup/Shazam/BA movie to wrap it up by 2023, that makes it a 4 year franchise.

The kid would have shot between the age of 15-20. They did say they put his age etc into consideration too.

then just use Shazam and Rock for future JL/LOC films if the entire franchise is going well.

My wild guess is they will pump out Supergirl or Superman movie after Shazam’s short spurt.

I'm sure they'll save it for the film.
If they are following Johns' and Frank's story, it's the third-act huge turning point and big reveal.
And pretty much the whole story arc of Billy seemingly rejecting his new family, hinges on the revel that when it comes to it, he powers them up, affirming that what he really wanted is a new family all allong. And does the one thing no champion had ever done with the power, ...share it!
Affirming in the end the Wizard had made the right choice.
I doubt they'd want to spoil this on a trailer.

They might drop a line of one of he other kids saying they wish they had powers too, or Billy contemplating if he could share it, just to put it out there in peoples minds.
But I'm sure they won't reveal it fully
