It's a possibility...

...it's a big possibility.

I don't know about anyone but I think the above is a case of Cap deflecting Iron Man's beams and hitting Rhodey.

You know what, after some examination (comparing Iron's beam to Vision's gem beam), yeah, you might be right. It does look a lot like Iron Man's. I guess I'd be super pissed too if I were Stark and this happened. Yikes.

they are quite close so it's tough to tell
but yeah, it looks like vision's beam is a bit more green, and jagged, kylo-ren-lightsaber-style

Wherever it's coming from it definitely looks like Team IM firepower backfiring or deliberately being used against them.

My guess it comes after Team Cap takes a few hits, and both sides let loose the big guns. Bucky goes to lethal weaponry, Ant-man goes large, SW unleashes a little telekinetic energy projecting hell as Team IM's flyers take it to the next level. Cap gets his shield back and uses it to full advantage.

Maybe Vision sees how ruthless Team Iron Man is and switched sides. Based off the trailers, it looks like Iron Man is launching rockets and Clint and Wanda.

:whatever:

And Cap's team are as timid as bunny rabbits? Bucky tried to shoot Tony at point blank range. Not to mention the numerous times he's murdered people.

ohhh jeezus, not that again :wall:
I'd rather look at creepy tumblr fanfic drawings of Wanda and Vision than rehash that "Bucky's an unrepentant murderer" thing again

....
Outside of flying, do y'all think Wanda will have any other surprises in her bag of magic tricks this time around??
I'm hoping the Russos add a bit of the 'reality-warping' aspect to her powers, nothing crazy that will confuse the audience, but just a little moment like turning a repulsor blast into a roman candle or somethin

Roll your eyes all you want, but it's a totally plausible scenario. Based off what we we've scene and the dialogue between Tony and Steve, it seems that Tony is coming across as more aggressive and dare I say, unhinged.

Bucky is no murderer. Bucky hasn't murdered anyone. How could he? To claim otherwise is to be intellectually dishonest in a vain attempt at making your favorite side look better. Try again, please. Sure, Bucky looks bad trying to shoot Tony, but the mistake people make is assuming that just because Bucky starts remembering things doesn't mean that everything is just fine after 70 years of brainwashing. Give the dude a break. He's going to have mental issues.

Cap is willing to risk it all to rescue his friend. Maybe it's Steve not willing to give up on Bucky is what makes Vision switch sides. He finds Cap's team more humanizing than Team Stark.

Mike i actually agree with you... a sign of the Apocalypse perhaps?

The Apocalypse? God, I hope not. The Apocalypse can't come before the end of phase 3. It's funny, I rarely ever not agree with you. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I kd I kidd :o but if the Apocalypse were to come it would be horrible thinking of all the movies we'd be missing out on.

You do a lot of art-house films, like I Saw The Light, but you also do big-budget flicks like The Avengers. How does your process change when preparing for such different roles?

They are pretty similar, honestly. It is the actual being on set that is very different. I worked with the same dialect coach for both, for Scarlet Witch's fake, made-up accent, and for Audrey's 1940s Alabama accent. I love approaching characters with dialect first, because that helps me analyze the script, analyze the intention, as well as just the sounds of the words, trying to figure out if these are the words I should be saying. It's weaving into script analysis.
Even with Scarlet Witch, I was doing a lot of research! I read as many of the comics that would make sense for the world of the script, and you need to understand what powers they are focusing on in the movies. You try to understand that she has these powers in the comic book, but maybe there is a way that I can weave that in, in case they want to bring it up later. You play in the same way that you would if you had a book you were adapting, or a person.

Elizabeth Olsen interview on Entertainment Tonight:

For fans who are hoping to see Scarlet's relationship with Vision (played by Paul Bettany) evolve even more, you're in luck -- Olsen told ET that it's "totally" happening!
"You learn a little bit more about what connects [Scarlet and Vision] in this film," the 27-year-old actress revealed. "And I think there's some really sweet moments between Paul and I, and it's more about how they relate to one another and their similarities just based on their superpowers."

Best news I've heard but damn that's hella spoilery dontcha think?

My idea was that after Scott shrinks and lands on Iron Man (see the trailer) he messes with his suit which causes his repulsor to hit Rhodey. So its like his fault which makes it even worse for him.

Either that or its Visions beam.

Wonder if this means that they'll be together somewhere in this film or if it'll just be more teasing like in AOU

looks more scarlet witch-y to me
but Fox doesn't do comic accuracy, so yeah, that is somewhat similar to how she looked in X3 :oldrazz:
