Her new look is surprisingly much simpler than the typical MCU costume and definitely a lot simpler than her end of AoU costume. Not a whole lot of custom textures or detailing that we're used to from Marvel's costume designers.

Makes me wonder if she actually is still an active Avenger and more freelancer hero when we see her in CW. Elizabeth mentioned she was a "wildcard" before and it does look like she's in civilian gear.

That is definitely not civilian gear. That's a superhero costume, her Uncanny Avengers to be exact.

Sounds like something happens in Africa that she's responsible for that will make her have some sort of emotional breakdown that forces her to sit out for awhile before showing up again to help CA.

It always feels as if something is missing to me.

I dont think Wanda is into tiaras and hairbands. It should be organic to the character, if she was royalty or from another planet it might work but shes a gypsy from Europe.

I believe the correct term is "Romani." Some people may find the word gypsy to be offensive. It's important to be culturally sensitive.

I always thought it could be interesting to have the headband / tiara act as something that can regulate her powers or something, stopping her losing control or doing something super crazy

I was going to make the same suggestion until I saw your comment. Maybe Dr. Strange will devise a headband/tiara like in the comics to give to Wanda to control her powers.

I'm not too sad the headband is missing, to be honest. It's one of those things to me that looks good in a comic book, but wouldn't look the best in a film. Like Wolverine's blue and yellow suit.
