Should the Heroes ever be revealed to the public?

If they get revealed to the public, one thing I really shope doesn't happen is that they're treated like a race. You know, no "Heroes rights" rallies or any of that. I get the very distinct impression that each of Heroes has some kind of destiny, more akin to the Century Babies of Wildstorm than the Mutants of Marvel. I can get behind the people of the world, especially the Governments of the world, not understanding them or trying to use them, but they're definately more than people who just happen to have powers, and should be handled as such.

I think you are right in fact in season one some are treated as bad, not so much a race. But Matt and the Hatian end up working for the goverment. In fact I think that if the Heroes do show themselves like Peter has to his new Irish friends it should go well without the race issues. I mean the irish dudes do not even seem to care that Peter has powers. In fact they welcome him in to the family. lol
