Sequels Should there even be a Fourth movie?

I'll never understand why the idea that movies or TV shows should just stop being made. I mean as a fan wouldn't you want them to keep making stories about your favorite character.

Yes I understand that people don't want bad movies/stories but to actually believe that they should stop making them makes no sense to me.

Yeah , it could be made. The question I have in mind is quality . Is there a story to tell. Not a cash grab or a chance to sell toys but an actual story .

IMO 1 and 2 tried to tell a story and gave us characters we cared about . I think another 2 films with the Spiderman name slapped on it can make a fortune but i'd at least like to see them make an effort on making a solid film.

I'd rather see 4 have the quality of an Ironman then an Indy 4 . If I had my drothers they would stop after 4 and restart again later, but i'm not making these so Sony's gonna do what they want.

I think Lizard would be the best villian. The only problem is that it might seem like a rehash of Doc Ock from Spiderman 2.

Doubtful, cant see why people say this. People overexagerrate the small things they have/will have in common.

Doc Ock- Nice, yet arrogant guy with a wife and an idol to Pete. After accident, wife dead.

Connors- Nice family man and idol to Pete. Has a wife and kid who will most likely be alive from beginning to end, trying to find a cure.

Screw Conners finding his own cure it should be Spiderman trying to ADMINISTER the cure to the Lizard who does no cooperate and tries to kill everyone. He is scouring the sewers and attacks people at night like a real menace. In comes Kraven to hunt him but Spidey has to stop Kraven from kiling his friend while not getting killed by his friend. No conners curing himself! That would be dumb and boring.

Eh thats not a bad idea though no sappy "Curt, its me your wife im here to help you" stuff unless the next scene is him trying to eat her. How many times have you seen a movie where they try to appeal to the bad guy who, up until that point, couldnt be reasoned with? Too many IMO. Maybe she tries it and he tries to bite her face off so Spiderman steps in.
