Yea, what was the point of that?
My dumbass computer.
Didnt' mean to do that...Yea, what was the point of that?

fan.I think the Thomas Jane Punisher movie is really underrated and I was disappointed to hear when they decided to reboot with War Zone. I would of loved to have an HBO spin off of the Thomas Jane Punisher continue telling his stories. I guess I'm in the minority when it comes to liking that movie. Either way I'm still a bigfan.
well Ray is a big guy so him getting manhandled like Jane was would seem a little unbelieveable...anyway The Punisher is supposed to be a big guy.
I still say they adapt the Max series.
I think Bushwacker would have been good for the never going to happen Thomas Jane Punisher sequel. Have more or less the same background for the character, ex-CIA operative who lost his **** and is now a hired gun and have him be a more brains instead of brawn character. Though the bioengineered arm gun would have to go.
See I was thinking the arm thing could work if done in a realistic way which is why I'd love for Marvel to get the rights back, so there could be cross over references/fall out. Iron Man 2 seems to be going the route of Armor Wars. There are alot of black market people that would love that tech. Bushwacker gets a hold of Stark Tech all hell breaks loose, Castle goes in to shut his ass down. That tech getting into the hands of the wrong people could be awesome for Frank to get involved with in terms of story. It's not just large gangster groups all the time, but real heavy hitters.
@Sabetoonth: That is also true, but variety goes a long way. There are some great real world stories that can make an excellent Punisher film, slavers, year one (which is why I really appreciate the 04 film for what it tried to do), In the Beginning, Mother Russia, etc. But Castle is the comic book John McClane. Part of what makes him awesome is his ability to take damage and come back, plus the situations they find themselves in are sometimes bigger than street gangs. Is it so hard to have Frank deal with terrorists? Sure they're not original either, but threat wise compared to Mobsters, I think that will hold more attention than Tony Sorprano types.
Bushwhackers arm being a prosthetic made of Stark Technology could be a nice tie in...but they would have to explain his story enough to make it believable. maybe hes a hired gun to protect a power drug cartel running mass killings at the border or a terrorist cell group.
