so, lets talk about something other than Dominic Purcell for a change.

I love the score for the first movie, its one of the things that makes the first film great IMO. Do you think they should use Danny Elfman again?...

Definately, the score is amazing in the first movie, they will be making another big mistake if they dont get him back!

I would like his score but only if it's going to be a real sequel. My main fear is that they're gonna make something so far removed from the first film it's not even funny.

Thats a big fear for me also!

What really bothers me is the growing number of people who seem to want it this way. We're gonna end up w/a mindless action popcorn flick. I know it.

Good point. I agree. Great, under-rated score....but if this movie is going to be so far-removed, it should have a different score because it is going to be very different in tone.

I'd like to see the score done by Jim Steinman

Songs by MeatLoaf, Bonnie Tyler, and some scattered stuff in films like Zorro, The Shadow, and Streets of Fire
Very bombastic, romantic, and heroic

nope, keep Dany Elfman

Is Danny Elfman returning? I see that IMDb has him listed as if he's returning. And, yes, I know IMDb isn't very reliable for upcoming films.

And, to answer your question. . .yes. . .he should return. I wasn't too crazy about the main title theme but I LOVED the emotional scores. Like those flashback scenes had an amazing score. If Elfman doesn't return I would like to see variations of those score used as the Hulks theme and give danny a "theme by Danny Elfman" credit.

No to Danny Elfman. I vote for Hans Zimmer. Love his scores from Gladiator and Batman Begins.

yes....! One of the greatest scenes in HULK is in the desert and the music goes so well..... I really hope Elfman returns....

Don't you people see? Having a score will detract from the awesomeness of a talking Hulk, which will be awesome!

Seriously speaking...these guys are going to have problems making a believable epic film with the budget they're working with, much less the original soundtrack for the film. Elfman should just spite this movie further and say 'no', though I must admit his score would be infinitely better.

It seems everyone wants Elfman back for the sequel, but do you think Marvel will pay the money for him?

Trash can lids clanging against each other never sounded so good.

Thanks for the laugh zanos! :hq:

the previous score was ok
but i think GRAEME REVELL could do a better Hulk score
Revell knows how to make a hard-edged, gritty, and raging score
reference: Sin City, The Crow, Chronicles of Riddick
in my opinion, the Riddick themes couldve been great if they were used for Hulk.

i believe Revell can brew up a hell of a hammerhead score for Hulk
