Looks good. I'd prefer to see Lark stick to gritty, street-level comics rather than this sort of bright, colorful superhero stuff, but his art still looks all right on it. Gotta love an artist who'll still whip out the Kirby dots in this era of Photoshop and fancy-schmancy coloring effects.

Daken is that type of dude who was the dick kid in high school we(geeks) all hated.

That's why it is so pleasurable watching Daken get stomped when it all comes back around. I never feel bad for him because he pretty much always deserves it.

I remember I read the first 10 issues of Wolverinerigins before dropping it and thinking when I saw Daken 'That is the most cliche design for a supposed badass I've ever seen"From what I've read his character ain't much better.

I want all of the Dark Avengers to die except Ares, Bullseye & maybe Venom. I'm fine with Brock as Anti-Venom so Gargan as Venom is okay for now.

How will Siege tie into any other books outside of the Avenger ones?

It looks better than Maleev's on Secret Invasion: Dark Reign.

Maleev's another great artist for gritty stuff, not so great for superheroics. I mean, they can draw street-level superhero action at best. Guys blasting each other through dimensions and lifting skyscrapers are best left to more traditional superhero comic artists, I think.
