New Teaser

Out of all the teasers, this one has me most excited. I've had such a distaste for Daken. So much so, that it made me drop 2 Wolverine lines. :csad: Thankfully, I have Wolverine Weapon X to keep me busy. Anyone here think Wolverine will finally give this ****er what he has coming?

This one-shot certainly seems to represent a huge evolution in the state of the Marvel Universe. With Norman Osborn's alliances shifting rapidly, it will be interesting to see who will support him heading into the Siege of Asgard.

But today we're able to exclusively preview what comes after Siege: The Cabal. On December 30, 2009, Marvel is releasing a special spotlight on the characters involved in Siege. The free one-shot will include a prologue sequence that builds to the January event as well as a special advance look at Olivier Coipel's work on Siege #1.

Here's Marvel's official description of the book:

"SIEGE is almost upon us! And this special giveaway issue contains everything readers will need to prepare themselves for the ultimate conflict to hit the Marvel Universe, six years in the making! Showcasing an ALL-NEW lead-in story featuring Loki, the God of Evil, ORIGINS OF SIEGE also contains an ALL-NEW origins section covering all of the major players in the battle, as drawn by the biggest artists at Marvel, as well as pinups and a checklist so you don't miss a single important issue. All that and a preview of SIEGE #1! It's time!"

The nine-page prologue will debut on Marvel.com on December 29, or fans can head to their local retailer the next day. Just as a side note, Diamond is not shipping titles on December 30, giving the market a rare week off. However two new books will still be made available on that day - Origins of Siege and Blackest Night #6.

Origins of Siege looks great. I can't wait to see the Asgardians take center-stage for a big event. :hehe:
Bianchi loves new suits. He re-did the Astonishing X-Men's costumes last year too
Oh snapple, that is Bianchi's art, isn't it? I'm suddenly less excited and more apprehensive about Iron Man possibly getting new armor. That guy's design sense is all kinds of f***ed up. :csad:

I remember Wolverine telling Spidey if he ever got the chance to kill Osborne, don't think about it, just do it. Anyone think Spidey will actually do it? I mean, dude is kind of Bush and Cheney wrapped up into one.

Plus it would upset some fans. Spider-Man fans aren't necessarily Wolverine or Punisher or any other murderous bastard anti-hero fans.

Spider-Man's killed more people than the hulk though. Isn't that right, hulk fans?

I hope Wolverine doesn't kill Daken either. I've come to really like him. I thought it was a stupid idea for Wolverine to have this long-loss son, but I appreciate how he's been getting written lately. And even though it was random and shorter than it should've been, I liked him in The List's Punisher one-shot. I hope he becomes a permanent member of Frank's rogue gallery after that, I also dug the dialogue between each other.

At the end of American Son, Spidey talked down Harry Osborn from killing Norman and he's refused to go along with Ronin every time he's mentioned going to kill Osborn. There's no way he would do it, he's not a killer.

There's no way Spidey would do it BUT that doesnt mean Spidey cant whup Norman's behind like he did Kingpin in Back in Black.

I want to say Pete's accidentally killed more than that but my mind's blanking.

The only other ones I can think of are Gwen Stacy, since the sudden jerk from Peter's webline snagging her snapped her neck, and Ben's murderer, since I think Peter accidentally gave him a heart attack or something. But those are pretty huge technicalities.

Gwen could have been dead before Normie even threw her off the bridge though. She wasn't conscious.

Could've been. But I don't think anyone really counts that one anyway. The fact that he used his webbing implies that he couldn't reach her in time anyway, so it was either web her or let her go splat. It was a lose/lose situation.

Yeah gwen doesn't count, but some people on that list definitely do. Not to mention how the moment Pete found out the symbiote was alive he's been trying to kill it without remorse or thought.

Spider-Man = world's more dangerous than the hulk.

And according to that list, it seems like he's only ever "intentionally" killed the Finisher. But he's almost killed Norman Osborn twice, which will probably be thrice soon.
