Smallville Fights

I love smallville and belive it to be a good show but I would like to see more hardcore fight scenes. Most often Clark just swats the bad super character to the floor and shows over. I just want to see more characters that can stand up to him for more than one minute.

The best fight for me on smallville so far was when Clark was on red K and his daddy came and kicked his butt.

It's pretty hard to get someone who can matchup with Clark. Usually, they just have one-trick ponies that he's taking on. It would make Clark look weak to struggle too often; we know what kind of power he wields. An occasional change of pace might be nice though.

I think the coolest fight so far was the one with Brainiac/Prof. Fine in the Fortress. I love the super-speed effect.

actually, I thought the fight against the native american guy with the knife was a better fight. I also thought the short battle with Brainiac was better aswell.

the Kent vs. Kent battle was stupid IMO, and lasted about 1/2 the time the other 2 I've mentioned have.

I was thinking about that fight with the native American 'Kiwachi' guy too. I caught a repeat of it the other day. It was that whole Neman/Segeth thing from the cave. Pretty good stuff. One of the rare fights where Clark has to actually try.

I love fight scenes! Does anyone remeber a few seasons back with Lionel/Johnathan? I also loved when Clark beat the crap out of Lex when his powers were gone. I do think they shortchange the superpowered fight scenes. Clark and Braniac should have been able to really hurt each other I get tired of the throwing people 30ft stuff. I would rather see more hand to hand type of fighting with the wire work as only part.

i'm not a big fan of the fights, it's always one person hits then another person hits, not fluid enough...

my favourite confrontation was one of speed between flash and clark through out the whole run ep.

that's my favourite confrontation.

Another fight that I was proud to see was the one where Lana gets brainwashed and turns on Chloe and begins to kick the crap out of her. Not super powered but very raw. Good axe action in that one.

I almost mentioned that one.It was almost scary the best fight scenes make me cringe a little.

i thought that it was "lift up in the air" will he fly? i dunno i dont hang that much in smallville forums cuz people in america have it before UK and it messes with me:S i heard that in the last scene in the last episode of the last season Clark will be in a superman costume flying (hope its a cape waving still in the air shot) well it says that "everything you've waited to see" its got to be somthing with flying:S

It would be great if they could keep it a secret, but I doubt they'll be able to do that for very long. They haven't started filming the finale yet, so they may not even have the actor signed, but I'd imagine they're working on it.

my and a mate was talking about this, smallville is good, every now and then they do have a filler episode (thirst was terrible the only good thing was the brainiac and lex part but the first 4 episode before that were great)anyway, smallville is good but the fights need to be longer, they might not be able to afford it though because its a hour long show, they can only keep it so long to fit in, but i got to admit the fights where Clark trys are so good when they happen, especially when you see the blur lines, also when Clark got blasted out of the water by Aquaman that was cool

Hopefully they don't have Zod, the black dude and that hot chic from Krypton imprison Smallville. Then it takes Clark half of season 6 to figure out how to stop them.

My two favorite fights were with the insect boy in the first season. My only gripe about that was the inclusion of kryptonite in the scene. It would've been better IMO, without having to weaken Clark.

The second fav fight would be Pa Kent vs. Evil Clark.

That’s another thing about the 1st series. Kryptonite was over used but thank the GODS they got over that plot device. I do like Clarks over load power episode where he flips the tractor well into the sky. Not a fight just cool use of his powers...
