I went to see this with 5 other friends. I invited them all and pretty much forced them to go. They all loved it. I am spreading the word about it, but every thing I say is positive.
I must have a Deadpool movie.

My parents went to the movies yesterday, and my dad decided to check out Crank. They walked out after about five minutes and went to Wolverine instead.

WOW, 160million, that's insane,:up: color me impressed, awesome, good for them!!!:D:up:

Hearing that this abominable piece of trash has already made 160 million dollars has made me lose faith in humanity.

Wolverine was Good glad to hear it made a haul

LMAO @ the Crying fan boys

It was a bad movie, and the people calling it good have no taste. Simple as that. Unfortunately, people who actually know how to evaluate a movie's quality are a rare breed these days, as Wolverine's box office haul clearly proves.

You like the Sarah Conner chronicles U have no right to be Trashing other people Taste

it wasn't that bad any ways ive seen plenty of people give it a 7/10 which is good enough for me

Well, since I enjoyed the movie alot, I'm glad it's doing good. At the same time, though, I can't help but think of the irony that a much superb film like Watchmen fared not as good at the b.o.

Sarah Connor Chronicles has been getting excellent reviews, and Wolverine got abysmal reviews. The fact that Terminator it gets a low viewership every week while a movie like Wolverine can make 160 million dollars in its opening weekend shows how idiotic the majority of the human race is.

Placing your faith in the U.S. box office is sure fire path to suicide.

Besides, next week, this movie will be destroyed by Star Trek. Then Terminator, etc.

Um, calling people who like this movie as having no taste is a bit much, don't you think? I mean, OK, you don't like this movie and you are entitled to your opinion and opinions are subjective and therefore thinking someone has no taste because they liked it is wrong. Heck, I have many complaints about X-Men 3, but I don't go around saying those who thought it was great have no taste. I guess it all comes down to what you were expecting from the movie. I quite enjoyed this movie, yet I also loved films such as The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Batman Begins, X2, and many other well reviewed comic/action films. I think the negativity around here got me to a point where I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised to see that the film is a pretty good one, sure it has its problems but overall not a bad film and quite enjoyable.

was wolverine expected to beat star trek and terminator salvation though? will just come in second the next two weekends and third the following weekend, all the while still making decent money.

That's a big NO. Wolverine was always expected to fall to the number two spot on its second weekend. It's facing a big movie and therefore is not going to win the weekend. It can still make decent money. If it gets a 2.3 multiplier it will hit 200 million, so I think it will do just fine for itself.

Correction it has gotten Mixed Reviews

ur making Wolverine into the next Batman And Robin which it isn't

And Reviews aren't every thing, cause the Sarah Connor Chronicles is ****, and the fact its being canceled is proof of that

That's totally uncalled for. If you don't like it, fine. Don't decide others have no taste because they disagree with you.

It hasn't been canceled, and it's not "****" as you claim (unless "****" is "good" or one of its synonyms starred out). And besides, even if it was being canceled it wouldn't help your claim at all, since many great shows get canceled, while even more bad ones stay on the air. Dancing with the Stars? American Idol? Deal or No Deal? Are those shows good because they have managed to avoid cancelation?

BTW, take a look at this review for the season finale of Terminator's season finale. A crappy show does not get a 9.5 rating.

http://tv.ign.com/articles/971/971828p1.html

Now look at their review for the Wolverine movie: 2.5 stars out of 5. That means that the movie is mediocre.

http://movies.ign.com/articles/977/977864p1.html

And shall we bring the tomatometer into this, as well?

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/wolverine/

37% of critics have said the movie was "good." That means that 63% of the critics said that it was bad, which means that by a wide majority, the people who actually bother to critique the movie have said that the movie is bad. You do not have to have a newspaper column or a blog to actually evaluate a movie's quality. Wolverine is a failure in terms of movie making, and there is no excuse for it except that there is an idiot hack in charge of Fox. If you enjoy the movie, then that's fine and dandy, but that doesn't make it good.

Box office may not equate to a good movie, but it sure as hell determines if that movie gets a sequel or prequel deal.

Earlier today, I checked out the fan reviews at Fandango. 83% of people rated Wolverine as "must go" or "go". To put it in perspective, Iron Man and The Dark Knight were at 96%, The Incredible Hulk at 83%, X3 at 77% and Watchmen just 64%. Not surprisingly, IM and TDK both had great legs and Watchmen had none.

I just looked on movietickets.com (planning to see the movie again tonight), and the user reviews have it at 4 out of 5 stars, with 87% recommending the movie to a friend (1086 reviews).

This is not the Sarah Connor Chronicles thread, so how about we all just drop it, OK?

I would consider it generally negative. X3 got mixed reviews.

Ive been seeing an Average of 7/10's so i call it mixed

Any way

the Movie made a haul Which is awesome

They will make a sequal which Is awesome

they'll green light Magneto and First class Which is awesome

And Iam Finally gonna get my Goddamn Deadpool Movie which is Great

See, I still want the Magneto prequel. They would really need a GOOD young actor to portray him as a kid, a young adult and then just bring on Ian for the final moments. But this would really need some depth, as Magneto is honestly even more complex than Wolverine to be honest.

James Marsters would make a good Young Magneto
