but what I found out is Tyler Bates will be doing the music and Ive got to say, I loved the 300 soundtrack and some other scores by him but the Watchmen score was pretty awful (and I mean the score not the soundtrack)

I'll have to pay attention to the score next time I watch Watchmen. I don't remember much of it.

I liked the music they played for Comedian's funeral and a few of the other tracks. But in general I disliked the music in Watchmen. Even the soundtrack was hit or miss, and when it missed, it missed BIG and felt distracting.

The only music in Watchmen I even noticed was during Dr. Manhattan's big scene... and that was Phillip Glass.

I love the 300 soundtrack as well as some of the ambient music in Dawn of the Dead; that's all I've heard of Tyler Bates.

I totally agree, but seeing Emily Browning all dolled-up just might be worth the price of admission.

Well...it's hot girls in anime-comic fanboys fantasies involving gun-wielding giant samurai-ninjas, rocket-jetpaks, WWII-esque CGI-styled warzones complete with Nazi zombies, flying dragons, and hot jailbait girls in skimpy outfits, the lead dressed like the standard-bearer for school girl looks, Sailor Moon....

I don't know. It just looks like a video game and a 13-to-16 year old's fantasies come true. I like Emily Browning and Carla Gugino. I like Snyder's aesthetics (though they can often become overbearing) and I often find myself defending him on Watchmen and the underrated Dawn of the Dead.

But this looks like a return to 300, on steroids. And I found 300 incredibly boring. But this should be a hit as it is the same idea, except with a checklist of fanboy set pieces and the homoerotic heroes being school girls and not shirtless men. Also no pro-fascism is a plus. But, it just looks...odd to me.

But it should be a huge hit. I am surprised it is not rated R for obvious reasons. And I will say that Browning, Chung, and especially the Sweet Pea girl (I don't know the actress) look amazing in it. But I will wait for reviews.

Jesus,not every damn movie needs to be an award worthy kind of movie. Even though you dug Dawn Of The Dead,which is strange(not that I hate Dawn Of The Dead). And I think that you're just hating for the sake of hating out of boredom,how is it that the female characters are jailbait? I know for a fact that you weren't initially drawn to this movie,which means you couldn't have known that(that the girls are jailbait) because of how this movie wasn't on your radar before. Seemingly. And you don't realize that you just insulted every person in this thread who is looking forward to the movie.

very true, though Snyder claims he was still able to pull of much of what he intended, and it doesn't look like he really toned that much down. Rather than the no blood route that TDK took he just made all the blood black. But seriously lets get real here: Some situations call for an F-Bomb. Staring up at a gigantic Samurai is one of them.
