I agree with Insomnia, but I really think Following is a pretty bad movie. It starts off good, with a nice premise, but it just gets extremely stale and boring.Insomina was not a great movie. It wasn't terrible or anything but it was far from great.
^Yep, thats why 2 of my top 3 movies feature anti gravity scenes. Winter's Bone had the best action scenes of the year and the CGI was flawless and The Social Network, what can I say? Those action scenes make Inceptions look terrible.
I never cared for Insomina and I'm not going to start now just because Nolan is popular. It was an okay 7 out of 10 movie and nothing more...to me.
Water under the bridge because it is very annoying when I have to constantly read how overrated and boring an actual well scripted and directed movie is while people on these type of boards constantly praise junk because "it wasn't trying to be serious or great, it was just trying to be fun."I was kidding. Sorry if I came off as a d**k. I'm just surprised so many people find this movie to be meh. I guess what I'm used to seeing on other boards (not from anybody on here) is most people don't like it because it doesn't have a trippy high concept plot so most people seem to get mad when it's nothing more than a simple thriller (plotwise at least.) I didn't mean for my comment to really insult any of you, and I respect all of your opinions as you seem to at least enjoy it less for actual critical reasons. I guess I'm just used to the "WTH this is boring" from most boards.
Its my evil twin brother bashing Batman Begins in the Nolan boards. I am neutral. Fanboys and haters annoy me equally. The notion of defending Nolan without being a fanboy must be foreign to you.JAK®;19413066 said:
