so...anyone watch PRIMEVAL?

Christine coming back through the anomaly just so we could see the predator eat her seemed kinda pointless.... but fun.

sad thing is that this all means that primeval has finally gotten it's act together to be one damn good program that could actually give dr who a run for it's money and it'll probably get canceled...:csad:

funny, I think it's gone downhill. the first two series were so much better.

really?

this series has felt likes it's really evolved from jusr monster of the week and into something completley different and exciting

I think I am going to stop watching soon, got to watch saturday's yet and I'm like ew got to watch it, its like making myself suffer lol It use to be good ..... trying to think should i give it another go, most of the time I find myself fast forwarding it lol

I guess that's my problem. I liked the monster of the week formula but now I don't feel like any of the creatures are an actual threat. I miss the days of Stephen being poisoned by an Arthroplura, or Abbie getting kidnapped by a Mer. also, now that Cutter is gone I really don't find Helen to be an interesting character. when she would pop in from time to time to save him it seemed like there was still some good in her which made her a bit of a wildcard, but as soon as she killed him it was like she became some sort of comic book supervillain.

Helen pretty much became a comic book supervillain in season 2 when she was f***ing Stephen to manipulate him into selling the others out. Personally, I've loved the hell out of this season. With the deaths of Cutter and Stephen and the departure of Jenny, the ARC team finally feels like a really solid, cohesive unit of equals working together to keep things from spinning out of control. Plus, Danny's a really fun addition to the cast--much more of an exciting and dynamic leader than the more cerebral Cutter.

I was a little bit disappointed in last week's episode that Helen turned out to be future-girl. Future-girl could've been interesting on her own.

haven't watched the last two episodes....they just deleted from my sky planner must be sign lol

Cancelled :P

I read this show is no more, oh well the last season did suck when Cutter and Claudia left really ....

Lame. The last season was fantastic, as far as I'm concerned. Cast changes in action/adventure shows are usually a good thing to me. It increases the stakes by showing you that even big characters can die, plus you often wind up with more fun characters. Danny was a hell of a lot more fun than boring Cutter.

I can't believe they are ending this with the characters where they are! To me thats a bad as the Andromada finale

Yeah, premature cancellation sucks, but you've kind of gotta get used to it if you're a sci fi fan. Sci fi shows tend to get the rug pulled out from under them all the time.

Meh.. the show started to get good in the second season.. 3rd it started to go backwards to being not as good. Helen's character development was really badly done.

Anyone got a link to prove this? All I have seen so far is rumours from tabloids and statements denying cancellation by ITV.

It got cancelled because ITV is broke and needs to save money and expensive shows with things like special effects are the first to go. Its this reason why British TV is turning into nothing but cheap made reality shows instead scripted dramas and why talented people in the television industry are flocking to america which is what the former head of the BBC and channel 4 said himself.

America ain't far behind, my friend. Reality shows tend to get better ratings for lower production costs over here as well, and viewership is going down across the board.

damn everything!!

i hate how people are stupid enough to watch random c list celebrity goes to wales for the week end over good quality sci fi drama like primeval...

that and danny is now forever stuck with primitive humans and connor and abbey are stuck in a tree:csad:

Danny deserves to be stuck in the past for walking around slowly, does he not know the anomilies close on there own.

he was almost there...there was heat and sun light...

i liked danny:csad:

Yeah, sucks to be him. On the other hand, Connor probably doesn't mind being stuck in that tree. :)
