I could have sworn that Wikipedia had short descriptions of the last couple of episodes of season 3 and that they mentioned that the episodes would include Cutter and would take place in the future. since we never actually see Cutter get shot is it possible that Helen faked his death somehow (another clone?) and that Henshall's announcement that he's left the show is a red herring?

I am seriously troubled by all these developments. Apparently Henshall wasn't even promoting this season.

I want to believe this is an elaborate ruse, but Henshall is saying he's leaving the show and letting it grow on its own.

I'm just so heartbroken about this all right now. I really loved this show and Cutter, and Cutter was like the anchor of the show. Its like 24 without Jack Bauer.

The good news is it looks like Quinn played by Jason Fleming is becoming a regular. He will be a real credit to the cast and give it some more prestige. He was fantastic in Benjamin Button.

Meh, if Henshall really has left and Cutter's gone for good, I don't mind. Let's face it: Cutter wasn't exactly overflowing with personality. He was the stoic leader type, and any show can get on without a stoic leader type. It's the fun, dramatic, goofy other characters that give the show legs for me. We've still got Connor (who can grow in a lot of interesting ways now that Cutter's gone), Abby, Dr. Page (who can fill in for Cutter in the super-brain department), and Becker (whom I find myself liking more and more every episode). That's still a pretty strong cast.

this site has descriptions of all of season 3's episodes but unfortunately there's no mention of Cutter returning. there is however some interesting Jenny Lewis stuff.

according to the site Jenny Lewis quits the team in episode 5 (which is listed as her last appearance) after a near death experience with a fungus creature. at first I thought this meant that Lucy Brown was leaving the show along with Henshall but then I noticed that the cast list for episode 9 has her listed as Claudia Brown. the entry for Claudia Brown says that she's "set to return in season 3, towards the end, occupying the same timeline Jenny Lewis exists in. She will set up a campaign to "save Cutter and the World" after Helen decides to destroy the Human Race by wiping out the earliest humans. She will make appearences in episodes 9 and 10 of season three."

I mean, I hope we do see more of the actress for Jenny/Claudia since she is hot and sex on legs. I think she's the hottest girl on the show, plus . . . redhead .

I'm really glad she stopped wearing so much makeup as Jenny this series. Jenny in series 2 looked sort of terrible because all that makeup was obscuring Lucy Brown's natural beauty.

Also, something else I wanted to address. I always liked the Cutter character and found him interesting. For one thing, Henshall's not like the typical action hero. He's different and unique and I liked that. I liked that he didn't obscure his thick accent either. Cutter is a professor but he can still be a badass in his own way. I like Cutter's compassion as a character but I also like his realism.

One of my favorite moments in the show is after the death of Connor's best friend. Cutter in that moment became a full father figure for Connor, and he actually hugged Connor. It wasn't gay manliness or anything, but it was Cutter doing something good and fatherly for Connor when Connor needed it. You kind of got that feeling again after Cutter's fate. Cutter felt like more than just a friend to Connor, he was Connor's father.

Also, Lucy Brown has apparently been naked before in something called Sharpe's Challenge. Can anyone confirm.

I'm sorry, but I'm a guy . . . and I love Lucy Brown.
