It was a mix of super highs and super lows for me.
I think I'll be pretty level and boring next year.

Any good/bad things happen that were memorable?
What are you expecting for next year?

The real big thing for me next year is what's featured in your avvy.

And I turn 20, so that's semi-cool. :word:

2006 has been up and down, lots of new feelings and adventures for me. I had my good days and bad days but at the end, im still alive so i can say i survived. Next year, I expect some payoff for some of the hardwork ive put in. Hopefully this is vague enough.

Hmmm... good thread, Tzarinna!

Well, this year certainly started off on a low. My Grandfather (who is one of the greatest heroes in my life) was diagnosed with cancer and he died in April. In between there, my best friend stopped talking to me and my other really good friend abandoned me on the day of the funeral (She didn't come) and after that she forgot I existed.

After that life got a lot better, a lot of my friends were leaving for college, so I had an amazing summer hanging out with all of them and I made up with my best friend. Then at my friend's sister's bat mitzvah, I saw one of my really good friends who I hadn't seen all summer. Supposedly she liked me last year, now it looks as though we may be going out in the near future.

The school year came as a bit of a shocker. The classes were a lot harder than I intended and I've lost touch with some friends, but I have made strong connections with a lot more people. I also started a band, which I am very happy with being in. The only really bad part I can think of about this year is my best friend stopped talking to me again. I realized she has some sort of emotional ADD and I've moved on. Other than that, it's been a damn good year.

In the coming year? Well, of course I expect to be going out with the friend I mentioned earlier, making her my first girlfriend. And I hope to get accepted to the college I want. Other than that I hope for more of the same.

Well, I turned 21 in 2006 and the Democrats took back Congress in 2006. Both good things. But besides all that, kind of a ****ty year honestly.

Good.
-I've met a lot of great friends at my Uni and hanged around had so much fun.
- My School went to the final four :D
- I got a job met a lot of cool people

Bad
-My uncle had passed away in August
-Superman Returns let me down
- My School lost in the final four :(
-The skins are not doing so well
-Zinedine Zidane got kicked out of the world cup
-Conditions in the Mid East continue to deteriorate (sp?)

Things to look forward to in '07

Spider-man 3.

I know I have more good but I gotta come back add on if I remember'em.

Weird year so far.
I graduated high school, got engaged, moved away to go to college, etc...

2006 was great, got hitched. 2007 will be great, me and my lovely wife will start the baby-making.

I prefered 2005 to this year, but I have a feeling 2007 is going to be a really, really good year for me.

I don't really remember 20 but I'm with you on the anticipation for SM3,farmerfran.

I hope it's a big payoff,Darth,I'm sure you've earned. :yay:

I've lost contact with some close friends and family, turns out they weren't truly supportive. My grandma has been sick. I can relate some,Dwarf lord Good luck getting the girl.

The Skins have been pitiful for awhile,Erundur. Sorry about your uncle. Gaining new friends always helps with the healing.

Whoa,Ben Urich,engage soon after H.S. graduation. Congrats.

I like your answer Darth, not too lengthy that someone might be put off by it, but short and cryptic
enuf that anyone could be interested and get a vague insight into how things went for you, while also drawing parallels w/ their own existence.

For me 06 was about highs, a few of em, and some lows.
Hope things go a little better in 07 and I will be willing to apply myself more too.
Plus I'm going to Madrid w/ my gf so that will be fun.
SM3 will be interesting, but it sucks waiting for Dark Knight and Hulk in 08.

Don't hurt yourself trying to make those babies,BadgerPhil.

I hope your prediction is true,Socrates.

Ooooo,I'm so jealous,Madrid should be lovely with the one you love,Dangerous

This year I've dealt with some family illness, drifting further apart from old friends, and coming to some sad self-realizations. I've forgotten most of it though, so I await 07 with dreaded anticipation.:yay:

2006 was pretty uneventful...better than 2005, but ...2007 could go either way.

HEY! Good to hear from you, man. Do you have a new AIM account? I need to get mine fixed. I should pretty soon, though. :)

Okay the bad things of 2006:
My lose of support via family and friends.
My car accident.
Getting laid off.
The aches from the accident, that includes the legal crap.
Being in Italy alone(during Valentines Day) and sick as a dog for the Winter Olympics.
Being celibate.
My grandma's health declining and moving to Atlanta.

Good things of 2006:
Getting laid off so I could chase the Spider-Man 3 set. :O
The lose of unsupportive friends and family.
Getting a new Jeep.
Discovering The Hype. :O
Being in Italy for the Winter Olympics.
Being celibate.

I think that's it for now.

What I look forward to in 2007:
A new home.
Travel to Prague.
Graduating from the apprenticeship. (must find a hot date)
Possible ending celibacy,maybe.
Decorating my new home.

Good things
- Going blonde
- Discovering Arrested Development. And starting a torrid love affair with it.
- Becoming closer with buddies.
- Becoming alot more social.
- Getting plastered more than usual.
- Steve McNair throwing for the Ravens. :meow:

Bad things
- Friends forgetting/ignoring my birthday (as anyone could tell by my Facebook page)
- Becoming alot more vindictive/vengeful.
- The disappointment that was X3.

Not Sure if Good or Bad
- Stopping my daily intake of anti-depression pills.

I finally have a job I like that pays some good cash.
I'll be turning 21.

So I'll be getting wasted a lot and throwing much of my cash away to strippers.
In other words 2007 will be fun.

So male stripper pays well?

I'm just kidding . Whats your new job?

I work at a health food supermarket.
It pays well.

Well enough to keep me in nice threads and put some extra cash in my pocket.
