Good things of 2006:
Getting laid off so I could chase the Spider-Man 3 set. :O

I like it!
Nothing like losing your job allowing you to spend your time how you actually want to spend it.:yay:

the good:
graduated university
went to tokyo, hong kong and macau this summer

the bad:
saying goodbye to all of my friends from school
sitting around for like three months with no idea what i was going to do with my life now that i had that pretty piece of paper

2007 outlook:

more school/extra courses/exams, but at least i'm on a defined path again

God, did 2006 suck and suck hard.

BAD:
-The movies I was looking forward too, werea bust and did not live up. (superman returns, x3)
-Both my internships didnt pan out.
-being without a job for almost an entire year!
-MY FREAKING HOUSE CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!!! I don't know how many you this has happened to you but i pray it never does. Cause it sucks. I thought at first i would be able to handle it, bt after the fact I got really depressed. My sister was in the house and had it not been for the firemen she would of died an i couldnt get over that, and also i was in the house on lunch from work and left 10 minutes before it started.

Good Things! (yay!)
-Pirates 2
-internships, i did learn alot from them.
-new truck :O
-my girlfriend (awwwww!)

I cant wait for this year to end and start 07! I turn 21 and it quite possibly could be the greatest year for movies ever!

Hey, I just realized it's technically my birthday. Yay me, I'm 21 now

This year sucked pretty damn badly... I started partying pretty hard as soon as my classes were done in April, ended up quitting my job in May so that I had more time to party, and was unemployed until August. So, when I went back to school, I was in a lifestyle that wasn't the most conducive to learning and I was flat broke. It's been a rough couple of months, but I've got a good cash flow coming in. I still don't have much energy, and I stand a good chance of failing a few of my classes this semester.

That being said, next year will definitely be an improvement :) I'm gonna get me a girl after New Years. Definitely ;)

Oh god, I can't even remember half of it.

I spent most of my christmas vacation in the hospital.
Then I spent the rest getting drunk.

School, I vaguely remember school. I submited alot of artwork, but I didn't really get anything else finished. I lost most of what little friends I had. I spent most of the year just partying it seems like. Which is kind of bad, because I've been developing dependenecies on things, and this kind of worries me. I dropped out of school, because there was little doubt I had enough credits to graduate, and school and my family life, have just been too much stress for me to handle. One of my friends told me they'd help me out and let me live with them, but they lied to me I guess, and I haven't heard from them since. Wasted my whole summer planning on that. Could spent that time getting a job instead. So after that, I tried working for my dad. But I could stand looking at him without wanting to punch him in the face considering everything he has done and continues to do to my family.
Then i got a job as a janitor, but I didn't like cleaning schools, considering I got out of that atmosphere for a reason. So now I've just basically been sitting around unemployed looking for work. I had a job itnerview today, but the guy didn't show up:yay: Oh, and I was seeing this girl, but she was apparently seeing other guys behind my back, too. And she lied to me about tons of other things.:yay:

Positives....uh
One of my long time friends and I have been closer then ever.
Pretty much my only friend right now, so at least I have him:up:
Somebody I know in Calgary is going to let me rent a place with him if he can find a place to rent.
and I had a really good summer...I learned alot of things. Even though I spent most of it with an effected eye.

HEY! Good to hear from you, man. Do you have a new AIM account? I need to get mine fixed. I should pretty soon, though. :)

Its the same one, but I forgot my damn password and all my buddies from highschool are on that list :(

It's been good, so far. 2007 should be about the same. :yay:

This year was very average, nothing much really worth mentioning.2005 was a better year,on the Hype mostly. Its always good to look optimistic for next year.

Great year. I went to a couple of fantastic concerts. Depeche Mode came to Romania for the first time ever and naturally I couldn't miss it. I also had lots of fun with Billy Idol and Duran Duran.
Profesionally, I got jobs that I really liked. I feel I'm getting more and more experienced and for once in my life I know exactly what I want to do.
And Superman returns was a great movie, damnit!
:)

This year has been a real strange one for me -- I broke up with my girlfriend of five years, but after time away from the stewing pot I feel great about it and am looking forward to meeting someone who is willing to put the other 50% into the relationship. My Gran has had cancer, but she seems to be beating it, and my mother has been diagnosed with a vitamin deficiancy but seems to be coping with it easily. Like I said, a strange year where bad stuff's happened but seems to be a positive year because the bad stuff that has happened hasn't won. I'm a positive guy and although I feel like I've been through the mill a bit latley, I can't help but look forward to a new year with new oppertunities.:)

2006 has been the year that Hubby and I have tried to redefine what is "normal" for ourselves. We've had to learn new habits that involve a toddler running around the house. We're getting used to his quarterly MRI's and doctors tests. It was better, in many ways than 2005, but we hope for better still from 2007.

I have a new job and my health . . . .so in that sense it's good.

Other outside events including emergencies and deaths in the family have me hoping for a much better 2007 though.

My fianceé wants one badly. It'll be another 10 years or so, though.

The Good
Got a new Job
moving to a new state
PS3 came out
High Def DVDs finally arrived
I sold my comics and bought some nice Original Art instead

The Bad
Superman Returns sucked
I got written up at work twice within a week
Summer was too hot

The Ugly
Apartment got broken into and stole all my home theater stuff. Lost about 10K worth of stuff.
Having to have to spend X-Mas this year as just another day.
Final Fantasy 12 came out on the same day all my stuff got stolen and I CAN"T FREAKIN PLAY IT!!!!

I'd never thought you'd be vengeful,WorthyStevens4,but sometimes folks must suffer the consequences of their actions.

Hmm,I don;t even know where to begin Hades,I'm glad you have some sort of support through your close friend,it always helps to have someone to talk to and for the love of god get that eye looked at.

Glad there weren't any ripples,Mee. :yay:

That's awesome,LadyVader,there's nothing like a live show,but 80's music tops it.

Nice to see you're rising above and maintain a positive outlook, eggyman.

I hope you get teh sex, too,Lord Valumart.

That can be stressful on a couple, redmarvel, sounds like you and hubby won't allow it to do so.

NHawk19,those two seem small but when you don't have them they are enormous.
