..and it sucks. Yeah, it was my very first time. At the age of 29. I was cool (more like calm) because I was coming back home from the bar, so I had a couple of beers on me and was a bit off. But the guys weren't that off and had this pointy thing they used to threaten me.. I don't have a cellphone anymore and they took pretty much everything that was in my wallet (150+ bucks). Good thing they bought my plea of please don't take my wallet and let me go just like that (so I kept my credit card and ATM card). So, basically, I'm now a bit drunk and a bit more poor than I was yesterday. Oh well--there's always a first time for everything :down

So they took the money from the wallet..and left your wallet?

That's taking things a little *too* literal.

yeah--that was something, heh

what were you doing with $150+ in your wallet? That's a lot to be carrying around with you.

Hey, he went to a bar, anything can happen to a bar right? Right? Right?

eh.....:O

Go to some bars and wait out until you see them some day and then steal there wallets.

Wimp. You should have gone all badass on them, drunk or not.

So let me get this straight. You literally just got mugged, and you're here, posting about it, instead of you know, talking to the police, or talking to the police?

He can't talk to the police, he doesn't have a cellphone. It's up to us!

My friend had a mild seizure last night, and I must say... I thought long and hard about whether or not I should post a thread describing the incident in great detail/ asking for advice. :o

It's a new police procedure to rush home and make a thread about it first.

Got to be careful, especially around the holidays. Everyone "knows" you've got $150 in your wallet.

Prison Mike... did you happen to rob anyone in Argentina lately?

They didn't take your whole wallet? Those are the worst muggers ever.

Sorry to hear you got mugged dude. Believe it or not in the two years i've lived in Hollywood, CA not once have i been mugged. The first year I lived here i didn't even have a car so i'd be walking home at 1am down sunset blvd a couple miles just to get home.

Lets hope i didn't just jinx it...

I've never been mugged and to be honest, I'm REALLY surprised. The city I live in, is VERY dangerous. Glad you made it out alive sir.

At least you didn't get swarmed, and they only took your cash.
