I'll sum it up with this...

When rumors were out that WB wanted John Blake as Batman for a JL film, I said that would have been the biggest middle finger in the history of CBM's. Why? Because it would be completely unacceptable to wait so long to see Superman and Batman side by side and not have it be Bruce Wayne.

Similarly, doing Miles instead would be the biggest middle finger right after that. It would be in complete poor taste to wait all this time to get Spidey in the MCU, to see him stand side by side with the rest, to finally get him off the hands of people fans weren't too happy with in the first place and not have it be the true Spider-Man. Especially given Marvel's track record to bring these characters straight off the page.

Peter Parker simply deserves to be the Spider-Man of the MCU and Miles Morales does not (at least not anytime soon). It's as simple as that.
