i guess you can say that there are many haters. and yeah its a comic, but how can anyone really accpet absolute crap like the current wolverine titles, is beyond me. i mean, i guess its loyalty to a charecter you thought was cool back in the day. but a real charecter doesnt need the constant bull crap upgrades that wolverine has had. i mean, i thought the sentry was marvels superman. but give wolverine a year, and you will probably see HIM flying at this rate.

origin is poorly written, cap would let wolverine explain to him what's going on and not just be a bossy prick. i liked how cap crushed wolvie's tendons in his forearms but c'mon, that would work for five seconds and then wolvie would be perfectly healed. was it just me or the writer didn't use wolvie's healing factor at all, all his wounds from cap would be healed in seconds. what punishment can cap do to logan that would actually matter. look at frank tierri's run, my favorite run for wolverine, or any other writer, they had wolverine healing in seconds from being burned to a crisp, punched out by hulk, etc... If cap is going to beat wolvie it's going to come from something other than mortal kombat. Origins should be shelved.

.... along with the new blade title. i love blade but there's only so much you can do with vampires in a comic. I have an idea, bring back titles that were good when they were written well and had above average art. ala the first gambit series with nicienza and skroce, that was great until they left, and believe it or not X-Man with ellis, gant and ariel olivediti. that book actually left the x-men behind and had him in an actual direction. wolvie needs to be 3 titles, his own original, new avengers and an x-men title. that's it.

But more recently, (and MTU was NOT a fight in any sense, spidey just really webbed him up), spidey got knocked out by wolvy in a new avengers training room session. Not to mention wolverine's clone , x23, had spidey down and beat before evil tony stark broke it up in mtu.

and in the only knock down drag out, wolvie chose to spare spidermans life because spidey didnt have the balls to kill him, and spidey admitted wolverine makes him **** his lycra.

Ko'ing spidey happened in a spiderman knights tpb....not sure which volume but it has wolverine and mj on the front with an angry spidey in the back ground, and spidey being scared of wolvie and not being able to put him away was in wolverine vs spiderman one shot.

2) For every occurance of Wolverine beating Spidey I can show you an issue where Spidey beats Wolverine.....you know what that means????? That it isnt an automatic win for either one and you shouldnt take it so serious.

But the wolverine vs spiderman one shot was the ONLY true down and dirty fight.....and not wanting to kill someone who is willing to kill you, in a to the death fight, is pretty much a huge disadvantage. It would sort of be like getting into a showdown in the wild west, at noon, but having no intention of pulling the trigger when your opponent happily would.

Not to mention with wolverine's enchanced healing factor that allows him to regenerate from a skeleton, Im not sure anything spiderman could do to him could kill him, anyway.

Actually, I just pointed out that she was wolverine's clone, with the same abilities, personality (more or less) and powers. I didn't say it was wolverine's win, so maybe you just have to read more carefully next time
