Logic by any degree says that absorbing tonnes of radiation won't turn you into an unstoppable monster, too.

Logic, in it's single and only degree, seeing how the end result is shifted to the transformation of the Hulk, isn't THAT bad. Energy reconstruction of his DNA linked to a latent mutant byproduct of himself could explain it.
