So...why was it PG?

It was PG because the ridiculous portrayal of Galactus is so overwhelming, you're forced to forget about any questionable content from earlier in the film.
 
The semi-nude Alba, the much more profanity than the first flick, the death of Hager, the crude humor...I figured this thing was PG-13, but Fox, being Fox, wanted more kids' asses in seats.
 
When Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is PG-13 and FF2 is PG, there is a BIG problem.

No adults who are not huge FF fans are digging this movie on any substantial level.
 
Smoke was that guy that had the craggy gray face and at the climax at Alcatraz, he breathes out this ashy and hot cloud of....smoke at some soldiers.

Some say that he's loosely based off of the X-Men character of the same name.
