I would warn him about the consequences of that kind of behavior outside of private messaging (posting in the forums) and I'll try to encourage him to be a little less concerned about others sexual choices...

Under the rules, he hasn't done anything wrong still even by admitting what they did however, I would personally reprimand him for his actions and he or she would probably have most of his posts watched more frequently. I would go on to say, he will have a vacation if his actions do not improve.

In talking with the other mods, I didn't think it would be prudent to award points to any of the contestants as this is not a tourney, but rather a problem-solving debate.

After the Bonus Round I am going to release a synopsis for each Scenario and how the problems should have been handled. You guys will be able to read that and gauge how you did.

I would tell him that his PM priveleges are now going to be taken away for just as long as Hypester B is banned for.

Even though I couldn't do anything, I would of lost a lot of respect for Hypester A. I would tell Hypester A that I would of been extremely disappointed in him, because no one on the board should be persecuted just because of their sexual orientation. From then on, I would keep much closer tabs on him, and try and make sure that what happened with Hypester A and B doesn't happen again.

I personally think he should have his PM privleges taken away because he was admiting that he actually did harrass Hypster B. I think they should be taken away from his for as along as Hypster B is banned for. You are taking away his privleges because he admited to harrasment and as a moderator you don't have to acknowledge his opinions on somebodys sexual preference. Hypster B acted in an incorrect manner so his sentence should not be changed though.
