Nah. I see some 'necks here, and most of them say coke. Even the waiters and waitresses have given up on explanations. For example, if a resturant only serves Pepsi product and Johnny asks for a "coke," the waiter doesn't even take the time to explain, they just bring a Pepsi. . . and hope they don't get shot.
Everyone I know calls it pop. Must be an American thing calling it soda.
I'll spit out butterflies before I ever let an expression like that come out of my mouth. Unless of course, I'm mocking the dip chewin', Confederate flag lovin', good ol' boys of the south.
When I'm in Tennessee, I ask if all they serve is Pepsi.....I KNOW THEIR TRICKS.....and I ain't fallin' for'um......
Okay a southern thing maybe.![]()
Georgia calls them cokes because they started in Georgia.
I do too....anytime I visit friends in Tennessee I stock up. That stuff got me through college...lol Like Mountain Dew it has enough caffeine in to to equal about 7 Dr. Peppers....lol
I don't think Dr. Pepper actually has any caffine (other then sugar). I'm pretty sure it's like sprite and 7 up and doesn't actually contain any
