This is of course they are going to make Piccolo and Piccolo Jr as separate characters and not change the storyline/backgrounds a little as well as assuming that Marsters is acting as Piccolo (the original) and not Piccolo Jr; in other words assuming that the writers of those reports actually are aware of the two separate characters and refer to them as Sr and Jr respectively.

LOL! Basically, what I meant was that we're making 2 assumptions:

1. That the article was accurate in that the Piccolo in the movie is the original Piccolo and not Piccolo Jr who is actually the more famous Piccolo.

2. That the movie is remaining faithful and that there will be 2 Piccolos.

No one wants to see a live action DBZ more than I do, but based on the studios trying to rush this film to be released and based on who they have casted for two important roles, I cant be optimistic about this. This movie is bound for failure and that saddens me .

Since Ray Park is now Snake Eyes for the potential G.I. Joe film franchise, it seems like many DBZ fans will be disappointed that he probably won't be Vegeta.

I thought she was hot on Real World: San Diego. She's Korean, too. The only question is if she can act, but there is nothing to judge her on, so I have faith.

Jamie Chung has joined Justin Chatwin and James Marsters in Fox's Dragon Ball Z, the live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese comic.

James Wong is directing the science fiction action-adventure, which centers on an adult humanoid alien named Goku (Chatwin) who, after discovering he was sent to Earth to destroy the population, tries to fulfill the wish of his dying grandfather and collect all seven of the world's mystical Dragon Balls to keep them out of the hands of the evil aliens.

Chung will play Chi Chi, the love interest of Goku when he's growing up.

Marsters ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") plays the evil Piccolo, who tries to take over the world.
