If there is anyu truth to this, I will not see that movie. Lets face it, not everyone liekd Tobey, but I certainyl thought he looked the part of Peter PArker. Yeah, Spider-man 3 wasn't great, but it was good enough, and it was Sony really that made it fail. I think they should give Raimi a last chance, but whatever. But even so, no Robert Pattinson, EVER.

I was ecstatic over news of a reboot, but if this is true, then the whole thing is just a horrible mess.

I don't want to see edward cullen as spiderbats in a super serious gritty tween drama.

Dammit Sony, get serious and do this right.

If this is the direction they're going, I hope it falls apart and the rights go back to marvel.

I have three Raimi movies and TAS on dvd I can watch instead of crappy Sony SM movies. If these rumors are true, I hope they make a terrible SM movie so that Marvel can have a shot at getting back its baby.
