From looking at the photos and descriptions of scenes that were cut from SM3, i think they made the right decisions with the cuts they made, although i think they should have made more cuts.
I'd rather have a version of SM3 with Harry's unessesary foreshadowing to the point of spoiler removed: 'My best friends...I would die for them.'
And have the Butler revelation scene cut, it doesn't make sense, and it makes it a tiny bit less expected when Harry's pumpkin bomb shows up during the fight if Harry is left after Pete's plea.
If they had some character development scenes, that would be good, but a lot of the scenes I read about were alternate scenes, when the plot was slightly different.
and the scene with Parker's reflection becoming a Venom-like monster image, i'd love to see that in a deleted scene extra, but not added to teh movie, looked too ott.
It's quite annoying that the SM movie do not include the deleted scenes on the dvd when so many other superhero movies do. They are holding them back I imagine in case they do an extended release.
Haven't seen Spider-man 2.1, heard it does not improve it, I'd like to see it, but would rather just buy a new movie than shell out essentially to see a couple of deleted scenes.
