they may have added stuff to kind of make more sense in SM3! did u guys think of that?
Sounds like 26 new seconds of battle scenes. I seem to recall seeing behind the scenes stuff of a cut scene in the battle building (up the building after the bank heist) where Ock and Spidey are actually inside a room.chaseter said:Here is some more info on the Spider-Man 2.5 dvd...it's old so I guess they have been working on this stuff for a while.

Very early days, but just to let people know that this has appeared on Sony's release calendar. 23/04/2007 is the date currently listed, so just in time to cash in.
i think fx will show new footage of spidey3, different than the one on fox. i also think that the sam raimi cut of spidey2 will feature new scenes, that is why it is called sam raimi cut.NinjaTurtleFan said:10 bucks says there is no "Sam Raimi cut" and it's the full theatrical movie beginning to end that Fox didn't show on Thanksgiving.
And we'll probably get behind-the-scenes footage of "SM3" but probably the same peeks at what Fox showed. "In this movie blah blah blah (new scene) and me and MJ blah blah blah (new scene)..."
Yep, there is absolutely NO Sam Raimi cut.NinjaTurtleFan said:10 bucks says there is no "Sam Raimi cut" and it's the full theatrical movie beginning to end that Fox didn't show on Thanksgiving.

That's why they would waste the time to advertise it...
You do not understand. EVEN IF we only get 2 or 3 minutes of new footage in this "Extended Sam Raimi Cut", it is STILL CONSIDERED a new version. Because Sam himself has taken the day or so out of his life to decide what he wants to put in the new cut, and now he's delivering it to us. Besides, when you consider the recent announcement of the "Extended Edion DVD" of Spidey 2 hitting in April, there is no doubt that what we'll see on FX IS that cut. And if it is that cut, then WHY in the hell would they still advertise something that is not new at all, even if it does just have 2 or 3 minutes of new footage added?
Let me know if you find an answer to that one.
I'm not trying to be harsh, but good grief.
