WTF?

...here

The fact that we've had only two bosses revealed for this game and it's coming out in less than two months? :oldrazz:

Well the answer is simple...this game will suck :oldrazz:

In all seriousness, the lack of villain reveals is a bit off-putting just for the fact that it makes you wonder if EOT will only have Sloan, Black Cat and Anti-Venom.

I can't get over admiring how positive you are about this game

There are the many Black Cat clones:woot:

Surprise? Maybe it will be over cluttered with the cronies to fight there would be no room for bosses

I've talked with Beenox on twitter. If what they were hinting at is true, we can expect to see a plethora of famous rogues appearing in EOT.

I try :o

I was very enthusiastic with SD but I've just about given up with EOT.

Surprises are fine, but still...AA showed a lot but we were still surprised during the game and the same goes for AC...we have seen quite a lot but we've been promised that there will be much, much more.

The only thing that would make sense is as you said, EOT could only have like two or three more villains in the game and that's why they don't want to spoil the entire game because it could be very short and filled up with just cronies.

Can you possibly show us something with that?

I really hope Hydro-Man is there somewhere. He'd make for a great boss battle in the hands of Beenox

green goblin needs to be in the game.

Agreed, but only if he's the master mind behind everything. Id break the game disc if Beenox put him as just another boss leading up to Sloan or whatever. If i were to find out Norman was the mastermind behind everything, forcing Sloan to do what he does, and there was a big battle with the Goblin at the end of the game, id purchase the game day one.

Well, in one of the behind the scene videos Spidey 2099 said "it started back then" which, to me at least, implies that there might be a twist with another villain actually being the mastermind. And even tho the discussions about Doc Ock being it a couple of pages ago (when he went from being mentioned in an article to being the master planner) it would at least be a nice twist having one of the more prominent figures in Spidey's rouges gallery be "the man behind the scenes".

Yeah! That would definitely make the story go up a few levels in quality.

Used to consider it the worst Spider-Man game, one of the worst games I played, I rated it that earlier and kept hating it with passion for some time.
How did you understand 1.5 is good? Now I view it as a good beat 'em up, average game in general

That's BS, WoS was crap then and it's crap now, and if I remember correctly, a while back you stated that you played the game multiple times. I don't know about you, but if I play a game and it stinks, it doesnt enter my 360 anymore, jus sayin :o

Wanted to get all variant endings, which I did
To me bad games stay bad, but this is Spider-Man, and I'm one with increasing geekery I love something Spidey no matter how I may hate it at first or for a while

I dunno, WoS had many, many flaws but it was still my favourite Spidey game since Spider-Man 2 for just swinging around and beating up thugs. That type of gameplay I found to be very enjoyable. It wasn't until about an hour into the game where you realised there wasn't anything else to it. Then garbage story, horrible voice acting etc just drove it further into the ground, but the core swinging/fighting design I rather enjoyed. I felt like it was the first Spidey game where I had full control over mixing my swinging/web abilities into my combat. If they ever go back to free roam, I hope they at least keep a few of those abilities in there.

Uh, why all this talk about Spider-Aziz score for WoS? He's changed his opinion about the game. No matter if you agree with him or not, it's his opinion so just leave it to him.

Sounds promising^. This game hasn't really had my attention, which says a lot since I'm usually a sucker for Spidey games. But since SD fell short of my hopes and this one seems to be a rushed gameplay sequel I wasn't really interested. But small articles like this and the fact that the story seems better have been getting my interest back. This might be the first Spidey game I just rent since Friend or Foe. I just wish they would give these games more time. Beenox seems like a great developer and they could probably make a great Spidey game if they had 2-3 years to work on it.

I wish I could go try out the game at PAX. I live a short 10 minute walk from where it's held but the tickets sold out before I realized they were on sale and the ones on ebay are ridiculously expensive!

BTW, are the only revealed villains in this game Anti-Venom and Black Cat 2099 or have I missed some? I kind of don't mind the lack of reveals. It could make for some nice surprises in the game. Games today are too often spoiled by promotion.

New article from IGN http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/119/1190749p1.html from the PAX coverage.

Sounds pretty good, a lot of the stuff he mentions is things at least I have found a bit iffy. Nice to see its shaping up.

Hm, that was a good read. My biggest complaint with SD was that it didn't feel like a cohesive game. It felt very choppy. There was NO story device pushing the game forward. It was just boss has tablet, fight boss, boss powers up from tablet, fight boss again. It felt too much like an arcade brawler which isn't what i want from this type of game.

That article made the game seem...good. 0_0 Wtf...

Whoa the game actually seems to be really good! Nice read, now I'm actually very pumped for this game!
