- ASM will die at the game’s beginning at the hands of Anti-Venom
- SM2099 will save ASM by putting him in the future
- Doctor Octopus will be a villain in the Amazing Universe
- Anti-Venom will regain control of himself
- Walker Sloan, Anti-Venom, and Doc Ock will fuse into a mysterious monster
- The information above all happens within the game’s first act

The game's intro was really good, like they said. I love how the credits were appearing on walls and stuff like that, it set the mood really well. I'm also glad Spidey 2099 is being presented totally in-character, it's awesome to see that (makes sense with Peter David writing him again). I was a little disappointed how he was characterized in SM:SD, so I'm happy it's been corrected.

Ock was acting like a bit of a pansy in that footage, though. But my guess is that the changes that were made to the timeline resulted in Octavius never becoming Doctor Octopus. Hence the "I'm only a scientist!" line.

While it might be a far cry, watch this game come out and impress a lot of folks. I mean, it quite possibly could. No one really has high expectations for it and we don't know a lot about it.

Personally, that's where I think a lot of the magic happens with video games. Developers often tend to "blow their load" in press releases. This then makes the game unappealing when you play it. Sure it might be fun but there is no sense of excitement/surprise.

It almost gives the player a been there done that esque vibe. I'm digging people's reactions though. Definitely looking forward to Tuesday!

he sounded like how i'd imagine an EARLY ock, who's insecure and whiney, and everyone elses lap dog. That's not how I invision Ock of the last 30 years... though, the 90s animated series might have done that to me.

EDIT: I also want to add that the voice acting is incredible! Val Kilmer really nails it if you ask me. He sounds great as an evil masterplanner. And the music is great!

Really? He was complete pansy and Kingpin's lap-dog in the 90's series.

Ironically, in Spectacular, he sounded whiny, yet he was his own man and a major crime lord in New York.

It is crazy how little they talked about this title. This time last year, we knew just about every major boss for SD. I think the only one we didn't have shown to us was Mysterio. Deadpool, Juggernaut, Kraven, Ock, Hammerhead, HobGoblin all had little trailers or reveals.

Having a tablet of Order and Chaos was a giveaway about Mysterio, Hammerhead was revelead early, one of the first villains

Is it just me, or does Doc Ock here look A LOT like his Spectacular counterpart (light green jumpsuit, long-coat over it, glowing light-green glasses)? Just like how Spidey's emblem in this game resembles the one in the show a lot.

I would have no problem, if the villain traveled back in time far enough, before Octavius became the evil Dr. Octopus, but seeing as Anti-Venom is around, that's obviously not the case.
