I agree with all these points! I especially like the idea of having a freerun button. Also, while I'm not a fan of Just Cause 2 (a pretty bad game imo), I like the idea of being able to attach things to anything.
I completely agree with the bolded points.
However, I'm not sure about the rest. I've always liked having some kind of HUD to action/adventure games. The way Gears Of War handle it fits only shooters imo, because you die quicker in those games so it doesn't have to be exact. However, you should be more precisely aware of exactly how much health and power etc. you have in a Spidey game imo. Just don't have the HUD take 1/3 of the screen and it should be fine.
Also, to me, the Spider Sense has always only been about sensing immediate danger to me. Just that tingeling feeling. I know its functions have varied alot in the comics but I've never liked the whole radar stuff. Makes him too much "Batman" or "Dare Devil" if you ask me.
I don't know about the last non bolded point. As a player, I don't want to worry about keeping everything clean. Alot of times when Spidey fights super villains such as Rhino for example, massive destruction is pretty un-avoidable. I just want to focus on the battle itself.
I'm not out there to complain about your points, just pointing out my opinions on them
