So around 211 usa now and i think around 640 ww or something. Boxoffice mojo has the movie at like 588 but that is with out yesterdays 15 that would put it at 603. Also with out monday and tuesday os numbers has i think the only update os numbers sunday night. So if its os monday and tuesday numbers are the same has usa that would put it at like 630 but i am sure its os numbers are still being higher.

Movie comes out in Italy tommorw last place it has not came out. Hc made around 10.1 million there so that will give it a little bit of a boost to.

Saying that Sony can't make a billion dollar Spider-Man movie is debatable. Venom made over 800m with no Spider-Man. It's not far fetched to think a Spider-Man Venom matchup would generate a billion.

Please the GA most likely thought venom was in the mcu due to spidey being in the mcu. The person I was even with turned to me and asked if venom was gonna be in infinity war. The GA don’t know about the rights and such

36-46 for second weekend is what this place is saying first second weekend numbers I have heard people say. Box Office: ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Shows Staying Power Over Newcomers

Movie is at like 211 if it does 36-46 that would put it at 247-257+ what ever it does today and Thursday. So maybe we are looking at like 263-273 by the end of sunday? Hopefully it does 46 this weekend that would be a great hold and would make the likely hood of 400 much more likely. WW right now movie is at 608 with out Monday and Tuesday OS numbers has I cant find OS numbers for Monday and Tuesday. I think the movie did like 10 million between Monday and Tuesday though in China. So that would put it at 618 million+ today like 8 million or so to 626 and the other OS markets for Monday-wensday. So movie should be around 650 by end of today. If you take just the 608 number and add the 52-62 or so it should make in USA the rest of the week including weekend that would put it at 660-670+ the full week OS numbers. So by end of Sunday I think WW we may be at like 750 for something.

Anyone think there's any truth to this?

Apparently if Far From Home doesn't clear a billion dollars, the rights will revert completely to Sony, whereas if it does, then Marvel gets to make a 3rd Spider-Man movie.

Please no!

Yeah, the next Spider-Man movie made by Sony will cross the $1B mark.

That is a nice bump around 100000 more than hc did on its first tuesday and hc hadnt came out on a holiday and a tuesday so far from home making a little bit more on day 8 compared to hc day 5.
Sounds good. It should beat HC by a fair bit (even though HC had good late legs).

Good to know. Should help keep the overseas numbers running nicely. The WW number by the end of next weekend will already be a good chunk of the way towards a billion.

Crossing $800M by the end of this weekend?

Yeah HC had good late legs but HC might get good late legs but also better legs at the start.

Not sure I am thinking around 750 but we will see.

That would be a good hold.

That would be a really good hold that would be a below 50% drop if it did 48 and if it did 48 that would be around 3.8 million more than HC did on its second weekend.

Movie past amazing spiderman 2 for 6th out of the 8 now in spiderman movies in usa. Should pass amazing spiderman 1 some time this weekend for 5th.

Its making a billion any way. Home comming did 880 million and Far from home has made 60 million more in China than home comming did so if ever were else stayed the same has HC that would put it at 940 and while its early still its looking like far from home is going to make more in USA and China may have like another 20 million left. That would be 960 and dont even include the increase that USA does movie might even get to a billion if ever were out side of USA and China just stays the same has hc.

If 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' Doesn't Make a Billion Dollars, Sony Breaks Free of the Marvel Studios Deal

If this movie doesn't hit a billion Sony takes Spider-Man back and this will be the last MCU Spider-Man appearance.
I don't believe this. But if true, a part of me is curious to see them try taking Spidey out of the MCU. The online drama will be very entertaining. On one hand you have those that hate the MCU Spiderman and might want a reboot, on the other hand, you have the majority that wants him in the MCU. This of course is after the third movie. After that Sony can do whatever the hell they want to do.

And I would be so bold as to say that if they tried, they would face litigation on a level that would prevent them from using the current version of the character and block the release of any new Spider-Man film for a long time. Disney’s lawyers would bury them.
I hope somewhere in that contract marvel made sure Tom Holland's Spiderman cannot be used outside the MCU. Cos if not, then that would be a very one-sided deal. Sony could fool the GA that Spiderman is still in the MCU by just being vague. I like to think that Disney's lawyers are smarter than that.

The Lion King is being criticized for the lack of expression of the characters.

Calling it now: This film will have good legs because people that are turned off by that (which isn't going to be a small number) are gonna go see Spider-Man instead. So a billion it's still likely.
